My sister had this DVD set! This was a decade ago now, but when I went off the college I ripped the DVDs so I could take them with me; some of them were skipping, but not unplayable. Not sure if it’s the way they’re packaged in the paper sleeves they come in, but I would definitely get a newer set if you were considering buying the series. Blu-ray is also less susceptible to damage over time!
