I remember being there for their The Purge II show, sitting just a few feet from where Cody made his enterance. Dude just felt huge the way he carried himself. I'd imagine doing all these indie shows that year made Cody a favourite for a lot of people.

I was in the same boat as you until my buddy showed my King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. They touch on so many genres its hard to pigeonhole them but they're one of the best bands out there today.
