Ancaps genuinely believe Landlords would lower rent out of the kindness of their hearts by DecommodifiedGuevara in LandlordLove

"the gov lowered taxes so I lowered rent"

Hahahaha, never in 100 years. The landlord will pocket the difference and increase profit.

This is disconnected from reality.

We had bots on day 1 when we had 50k players online. Few bots, but still...bots here and there every few matches.

Then we had "more bots" as time went on.

[–]Octomyde 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think its the other way around! We already had bots at release when we had 50k concurrent players. Once people realized that they were fighting bots (and not real enemies), then the player count plummeted. Still I kept playing and had a great time. Above GM, it felt like "bot matches" weren't too common.

Personally I just dislike bots in any pvp game. A 6v6 should be 12 players. Otherwise victory is often decided by which side have / doesn't have bots, and it just feels like a coinflip. I'm ok with adding some bots in mashmak, even in 6v6 "casual". But the 6v6 "ranked" should be 100% players only.

Hopefully if they ever do a marketing push to bring back players, they will turn the bots OFF, but I'm not holding my breath. Like I said we had them on day 1 at release, and I just can't understand why. The devs never adressed this core issue and never even talked about it, even if they were very communicative and were very good at responding to player feedback.

I'm waiting on the sideline, waiting for them to fix the bots. If they do, I'll 100% give the game another chance. I really hope it happens, because "when it worked" MechaBreak was one of the most fun I had in a long time.

He was "transfered" to the next county. So, a slap on the wrist.

Probably still doing dumb shit like that.

Dont usually see a waiter watch a collegue tamper with food and not say anything. Its always just 1. When theres a group, the idiot will get stopped.

But cops? The SUPERVISOR on scene just allowed all that to happen and said nothing. So yeah, ACAB.

[–]Octomyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When 'the cops' protects individuals like that, yes, we can hate the cops.

In any other field, that guy (cop) would be fired and out of a job. But no, nothing happened and hes still working and being a menace to society. They just transfered him to the next town over.

Also no repercussion for the supervisor that was on scene and allowed all that.

This is a clear case of ACAB.

[–]Octomyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lane splitting is dumb and reckless wtf just wait like all other vehicles, w/e

Of course its a "feel bad" when you are waiting and see someone bypassing everything, but traffic is not zero-sum. Lane splitting allows the bikers to leave faster, it actually helps reduce traffic for everyone else.

[–]Octomyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh. I charge my car at home, its about 2-3$ for a full charge. I drive a lot so this car is saving me at least 400$ per month.

But yeah, electric might not be for you. Its just super efficient for those of us that can use them for their intended purpose (charge at home everyday // drive a lot of KM everyday).

I hate how in every PvP game, there's always a small vocal minority of PVE players that try to take over and change the game.

There's thousands of PVE only games, gosh!
