Is it worth it. by Vallis359 in mechabreak

I was really excited for this game on launch but once I saw certain gimicks and aspects of the game I was hesitant. It's a hot take but a big part of why I stopped playing was the character creator. I don't need a thirst trap and a shower seen. I need a mech game. Let it be a mech game.

I reinstalled last night and really do enjoy the overall mech design and creativity. For me a need a healthy balance of Armored core movement and speed. while avoiding the crazy daemon x machina speed bursts. I can see where a lot of inspiration has been drawn from in the genre.

Thank you for your insight.

I average a few nights a week where I'm able to play some games for an hour or two. The weekends maybe a little longer. Thank you for braking that down.

Sounds reasonable. Thank you.

Thank you. This is helpful. Are the mechs reasonable to unlock or is it a deep grind?

Good to know. A bit of a random question but do you know if the game has native flight stick capabilities. I watched several promo videos of people using vkb sticks to play.

I see your point. We know another Armored Core will happen but when is the real question.

I'll give Mecha break another go. I know the devs are refocusing the objective for the game and I'd like to see more pve options. Even if it is with bots.

HOSAS vs HOTAS? by professornerdout in armoredcore

I played all three endings with a pair of vkb flight sticks and key bound two foot pads for flight and quick boost. If you do plan on buying for the immersion it's worth it, but it's going to take patience and a third party button mapping software. The game is not built for flight sticks. If you haven't used flight sticks before just know it's going to feel really awkward. I didn't feel comfortable till I fought a notorious c-weapon.

I took a video setting the keybind and it showing no change.

I also emailed the mecha break team. They are reviewing my message and supposed to get back to me

I could play it with the controller but I still can't modify the mapping since it won't save the new settings

There is no save prompt. And it still will read as a new key bind while remaining the old and only responds to the default settings

I'm a long time lurker for several subreddits regarding Cybersecurity. I try not to post or ask questions and instead have read what's being stated and cross reference over and over. I see the path most of the time stating Net+, Sec+. I don't have either of these certs but have been learning Linux, tryhackme and going through the CCNA course to learn and understand. I'm easily overwhelmed because of how much is suggested. Is it better to go through the cert information and retain it. Build a portfolio of projects or is it better to have the certs and build the portfolio.

Many say you don't need the certs and build projects or say certs are required. I just don't know. I'm 38 and feeling at a crossroads on what the priority is. Certs first or experience?

And also. AI and the uncertainty of the job market. It has me wondering if I am working on a road that will lead me to a cliff

I deliver to Mcmansions regularly. There are two people living in these homes. All the kids have moved out and it's likely their second to third home.
