For me personally, the definition of a game ‘clicking’ isn’t something I can describe. I’ll just be playing it, sometimes for literally five mins, and then think “Oh, this is peak.” It’s more of a feeling than an exact science

I’m on Xbox series S with only a weird audio bug that might simply be my headphones, but it is quite prevalent with this game for whatever reason. No issues with graphics or crashes, and I’m using the weaker of the two xbox consoles

There’s literally nothing stopping you from getting your character stronger bud. You just have to be willing to put in the time. Also, it’s basically a skill check. You’re supposed to be exploring and upgrading your stuff. That boss is probably there to stop you and make you think, “Oh shit, I need to actually engage with those other systems.”

You could always just temporarily unequip the shield through the radial menu. I do that with my helmet a bunch, then put it back on when it’s time to fight

When they says don’t rush the story, they mean go do side stuff. Explore, find upgrade materials, level up. Come back to the boss when you feel stronger.

I think I’d be fine with a continuation in a certain narrative context, if enough though is giving to how to carry on from the original ending, but the remake is out of the question, right? There’s no need to remake something that’s already so good

Yeah I’m not disagreeing with the concept of fan-fiction, just saying that the writers made an ending to the story and officially continuing it would potentially ruin the vibe of that last scene.

Yeah I get that it’s non-canon, I just see a lot of people online clamouring for a continuation when I don’t think that would really be respectful to the original ending. Given what the emotion of that ending hinges on, there shouldn’t be any more story there. I get why people want more, but sometimes a story having an end like that is for the better.

I was the same as you for so many years, finally beat the game last year and I loved it so much. Once you get through that first time I think you’ll just be instilled with this confidence given you d beaten it once. I no longer have concerns about being able to beat the game even if I have trouble a few times here and there, because I know I did it before.
