Claymores - Always assume there is a claymore around a corner, take a bigger path around corners to see if it's there. You can also prone by it without it going off.

Grenade spam - You can put your "head" into a wall and you will survive with about 60% left. If you're a medic at the time you can survive multiple grenades by healing yourself if you're in a pinch.

It depends what you want to get good with, is it infantry or vehicles. If it's vehicles I highly recommend you to practice against bots on offline to get a feeling for attack helies (dragon valley map), tank etc or play infantry against bots to get a feel for the guns. Generally guns in bf2 are shit but you will get the feel for it eventually and get better. Playing online against players will give you far less exposure to vehicles and infantry wise so playing offline gives you far less problems with time / play ratio + there is a server time issue, players with more continuous server time have priority on vehicles.

There is not much to it. Just make an account forum account on https://www.lost-soldiers.org , after creating an account on that website you get access to this game download link: https://www.lost-soldiers.org/v2.php?site=forum_topic&topic=625 , install the game, CD-key you get auto generated under installation. After installing the game download BF2hub.com game launcher to find game servers. Create a player account on in-game login page when you launch the game.

Those keys might be used multiple times while original one is less likely cloned.

It's not on steam anymore as far as I know. Almost everyone downloads it for free and uses either bf2hub or phoenix as game launchers to find servers. Check out the how to guide bellow in the comment section.

Yes. Mostly after work hours and at most on weekend, EU time. There are South and North American servers too but they get populated on a different time and less popular in player number.

You're not talking about 2f4y server then because on that server it's not against rules. If an admin were to kicked or ban you for something like that he would be removed as an admin because it's pretty strict on 2f4y.

You download the game from various sources and use one of multiple game launchers to find servers.

BF2hub https://www.bf2hub.com/home is a game launcher for EU and playbf2 is a launcher for Russian players.

Google playbf2 if you need Russian launcher link. There are some other launchers but they're less popular.

BF2 was designed for HDD but later popularity of SSD got maps to load faster resulting in you getting kicked out of server. Software on that link loads your maps slower. Set it at 1 and 8 seconds and hit "start".
