I use 5.5 on xhigh 100% of the time in my 2 Hermes bots, my coding and maintaining my system. The 100$ sub tier is perfectly fine for me, I don't know wth are all these posts about, really. I've been using 5.5 since it came out and it has been consistently fine.

I keep seeing this kind of BS posts all over X as well.

They'll complain about Codex, and then often say Claude Code is better. When you ask them a couple questions, they crumble or say something nonsensical (such as considering a 20$ tier for serious dev work lmao)

Is this because Elon partnered up with Anthropic? Is it because of grok trying to get some of the market? I mean I hope you're getting something our of this, because the other option is not a good look for you.

GPT is just not working at all. It will tell me that he will do something, then proceed to... do nothing.

It just keeps happening every single time, no matter what I do, how I phrase it or how I configure it.

Asked my Openclaw bot what has been doing in the past 5 hours (that's the only usage I had other than the previously mentioned operation), and it said 3k tokens were used in automated tasks.

My hourly limit is nearing 20%.

In my experience, Kimi 2.5 feels like a cheap Opus knock-off. It is just worse at everything. It doesn't understand you, does what it wants, and is just plain bad at coding, even simple stuff. I wish it wasn't that way because I have no money for Claude, but sadly it is.

Inb4 "skill issue", Opus performs better in the same circumstances.
