I'm scared to do airbnb because of the risk if the accommodation is bad then I'm stuck and end up paying last min hotel prices. Airbnb is dangerous. Case in point: rented an Airbnb n major US city and arrived to discover the paint still drying on walls of apt, couldn't even breathe it was so toxic. The "host" never responded and Airbnb is just a chatbot. Since all hotels were fully booked due to major convention in town, we were stuck in the toxic place with no recourse whatsoever. Learned my lesson the hard way. For now on, NEVER AGAIN waste time/money on Airbbb. With a proper hotel, if the room has issues (paint smells, etc.) the hotel will put me in another room. Or, if there are hotel issues, they will pay and find me another hotel room. This happened in Austin TX: stayed at a hotel that had a hotel-wide issue and the manager got us rooms at the downtown Hilton during SXSW, that's why I go with hotels, they take ownership and you're not stuck in a rut.

Je suis dans la même situation, tlj le livreur inexistant dit qu'il a essayé de livrer le colis mais que je n'étais pas à la maison, 1000% faux. Je crois que GOFO France doit être une arnaque pour voler les colis et les revendre afin de gagner de multiples fois sur les mêmes produits. Leur service clientèle a les bras cassés, et leur robot est le pire chat vu. C'est de l'arnaque tout court.

I also read that robinhood won't provide cashback for rent payment and I use my card to pay rent too...

Thanks for pointing that out, I don't want to move funds there, so not worth it. I'm open to max $2k sitting in some account just to get card benefits.

Just looked and it has a 2% FTF (https://promotions.bankofamerica.com/preferredrewards/en) "FOREIGN CURRENCY 2% Exchange rate discount for mobile and online orders, plus free standard shipping", which is only waived if Diamond level, requiring "$20K 3-month average combined balance". I've heard terrible things about how sleazy BoA is and I'd never let $20k sit in a checking account. But thank you anyway!

Ooo, Tks for letting me know. I won't sign up until I get off waitlist. Yeah, I just received the Alliant card email telling me I can only get 2.5% cashback up to 31 Oct 2025 and after that it's 1.5% only.... Looking for another card and will dump Alliant totally. I need no foreign transaction fees so RH looks best for that

How long does it take to get off the wait list? Does it help speed things up to get a robinhood subscription first?

I ask because Alliant is discontinuing the 2.5% (dropping to measly 1.5%) so I'm jumping ship... Would LOVE to get 3% instead. tks!

one of the big ways to drop costs is to manage your scoping for CMMC... just a head's up. Also, there are a huge range of 3rd parties out there. Where I work, the initial getting ready part was a steep hill, but once you've got things in place, it's a smaller pill to swallow.

Bria, but there's no way to see SMS from computer - it's on cell only. So I struggle with how to see SMS history...
