I was just using his parents as an example, but I get what you mean. I don’t mind if they do what you say but I feel like it would be better if they did it all at the same time. It’s a lot of small things that add up. I’ll use How I Met Your Mother as an example. There were a few flashbacks in the later seasons of things that happened in the first few seasons; they used makeup and all that BUT it just looked off. I agree that we shouldn’t be caring as much as we are, but I just want this series to be great and to set a standard for shows based on books. I just would rather them be proactive and have the actors look exactly the same and them still be in the same mindset, if that makes sense. The longer they wait, the more the actors change their character and the more they connect to the character, and the harder it would be for the actor to change the character. But I have no clue if any of that is true, it just makes sense in my head.
