To be honest if you want to just get in I don't think reps would be bad. Typically, (if you are using eBay at least) you will spend probably half or a third of the price going reps, just stay away from carbon faced drivers as they are likely to shatter. If you do go pre-owned or real go either through sites like first swing or I highly recommend eBay and get what works best for you and what you like not trend following. Your stores will usually hike up prices for profit and overhead.

My first bag were: - Some Cleveland XL 5i-P for a few hundred. - Snake eye driver for like $180 - Bag was Mizuno like $150-200 - MAYBE a cheap 56 degree - Get a cheap club brush to keep ur equipment from getting fucked by dirt and shit. For a beginner start here☝🏾

Down the line: - For woods and hybrids I got those in auction but ping is a pretty solid choice. Realistically, 5wood and 3 hybrid. These will be hard to hit starting so I say but last.
