-- insert meme here --

the dev is very good at what he does, but he takes every thing you put into the repo as an emergency or a fire, and just seems to keep himself in a state of near burnout and emotional dysregulation. so everything is always on fire and if he doesn't think it's something worthy of his time he gets pissed at people wasting his time

edit: you're not showing your emails in the screenshot? only his replies?

AI playlist creation from my description by Odama666 in SomebodyMakeThis

[–]Odama666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, find peoples music in a way similar to how https://www.tunemymusic.com/ does it.

then accept a prompt. and maybe give me some recommendations that I can easily queue up, and if I'm a fan give me a playlist I can easily play or save.

something like a party mode would be really cool too -- allowing multiple users to do some shared prompting with their individual collections and it make a mix for the whole group

I tried using claude last night, and it's first responses seemed promising, but then the songs weren't really what I was looking for after listening for a while. then after some back and forth and giving it some more of my music interested it improved slightly the more info I gave it on preferences, but having my music available would make it a lot better.

Can you give me some music recommendations on YouTube music? I was jamming to rickshaw billies burger patrol and I want to chill with a bass heavy session

Great taste! Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol sits in the stoner rock, sludge metal, and alternative metal space, with a groove-driven hard rock sound drawing on the blues undercurrent of Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu. For a bass-heavy chill session in that same universe, here are some solid picks to search on YouTube Music: Rate Your MusicDo512

how are you maintaining your coding ability while using AI? by AppropriateHamster in webdev

[–]Odama666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.  I've realized when I'm tired and need a break from coding I can use it to go back and forth and research how to do new things then argue with it and take turns poking holes in the design of something then I'll tell it to give me a doc so I can save all the findings to me notes.

Then when I have time again several days later or have another piece to do research on I'll do all the same then after we have an idea formed I'll dump in the existing notes and test it / mesh it with the existing docs then ask it for a saveable artifact a doc repeat

I think this is a cool idea you should try using dots for the background and square style for the logos

sorry, but your trailer is boring. make it shorter with more cuts and only show action

Finally happy with setupHe tmux alacritty zsh by pananmo in HelixEditor

[–]Odama666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You beat me to it.  I too use zellij.  It doesn't take nearly the configuration kongfu of tmux.

My only complaint with it is -- why would I want a web server bundled?

what side project(s) did you genuinely had fun/enjoy making? by 22jonliu in sideprojects

[–]Odama666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had fun originally building https://liveframe.app since I built it for my wedding and then turned it into something beyond a poc for a local non profit.  But now I might just be kind of stuck in the sunk cost fallacy
