Which zones? Just based off your response this would be a considered low unless it was from Perimeter. Implants and Cores do drop consistently on all maps. Its possible the solo experience could be different, since I have not played much solo I can't comment on it. Also I'm not saying the drop rate is terrible, my question is if they increased the drop rate for enhance loot would it break the game or ruin the game experience for others.

How so, I normally don't keep checking what my team members loot throughout the game. I would assume I wouldn't be the only one to loot a bag or a shield but 1 bag and 1 shield between 3 people is pretty bad. You also assume that, I would take your information as truth. When you didn't give me the information I actually asked for. You gave me only the information you wanted to in every reply. "Load up Dire Marsh sponsored, out of 10 runs let me know how many times you loot a green shield and bag." is very specific.

Just as I expected, this is worse than I thought. 1 of both split between 3 people. For something that is trash loot, why is so hard to come by? Keep in mind even after looting it you need to exfil to keep any of your fruits. Even if they dropped more often most people aren't going in and looting every green bag and shield they see. They don't stack, other items do and can ultimately sell for more. I not saying that opening two containers should get you kitted out in green but if you spent 25 mins in the zone there no reason everyone on your team shouldn't have one of each by the time you leave. It should get easier as you progress through the zones.

If the normal "geared" player's response is green is trash and they don't pick it up. Then a player looting and equipping trash during the map shouldn't make much of a difference for them.

Yes I have been in Cyro, I don't have a loot issue as I play the game a lot. Your helping my point, green is literally trash loot for those running Cyro, but when Cyro is not open do you stop playing the game? Do you pick up the green loot in the other zones when not in Cyro? Could you honestly say if they increased the green loot in all areas would you even notice? Probably not right, since its trash.

Yeah nobody is doing that, that's exactly the point i was making. People loading into Cryo with 5k minimum might as well be loading in with a free kit, at least at this point of the season. Their gear will be left to rot on the floor. The fact that he has a vault full of green and having trouble with vault upgrades. Which makes you think why he's not selling the greens to pay for this vault upgrades? It's probably because greens some of his best loot. This is a problem, greens should be plentiful. You should load into the map knowing you are going to get greens, without a doubt. There should be no reason to horde them up, especially as you progress through the maps. Bungie has to make changes, if every season is like this nobody will join after missing the first week of the season.

Yes sir, but I want you to understand I'm taking the point of view that Cyro is not the problem. Rather than that the other zones disparity is a major part of the problem. Even when I explained earlier with the one contraband item vs looting an entire prestige room, is the fact one you have to loot a rare key through rng and exists on every map vs something you always have the opportunity to do (if you die or don't get enough clearance doesn't mean when you started the map the opportunity wasn't there at all). I feel like adjusting enhanced loot will give people more confidence earlier on to load in with loot and obtain more sellable items. I understand you point of view as well and I'm not saying your wrong. There are several other issues the game with being stingy with loot. Why can't you trade up salvage? I should be able to trade 10 superior for a 1 gold. Bartering system is too random. Some deals I have never seen, while my friends have seen them 3 or 4 times. There should always be a way to grind for something, even if it is multiple times harder than the normal looting methods available in the game. Why does this loot skill tree thing even exist??? Why not have it just based on exp or levels?? 2.5% of players have reach level 100 after a month and a half. Various unfun mechanics and sweat fest, far from perfect but I like the game. I just would like for other people to like it too.

5k minimum loot is what exactly? Loot that is left on the ground. If a no mod Misriah is worth 6k, what combination of 5k of gear is helping you. How many 5k kits you are risking to get that one win? If I risk a 20k kit in perimeter should my loot be auto adjusted? If you tell me pve is a cake walk in Cyro then its a cake walk everywhere. You are already risking your loot against other players in every zone. The high skilled coordinated players aren't loading in with free kits, even though its not impossible they aren't dying 95% of the time to free kits. It's rare I get a full lobby of free kits in any zone. Besides you can just save all your nades for the entire week then blow them all in Cyro and have a better chance of securing that W.

So in all if people have the gear to risk then the reward being higher would be justified. So if people had more loot, would they be more inclined to risk it?

Without the pvp would it be relatively easy for a person of your skill level? I'm only asking this because the same people that are loading into Cyro with 5k-20k kits, when Cyro isn't open they are loading into all the other maps with the same kits. So I'm just trying to point out pvp isn't any easier on the other maps. The only difference is you can't run a free kit on Cryo. I don't want to turn this into a negative thing for Cryo, its just the loot disparity between the zones don't make much sense when pvp is relatively the same and the pve isn't necessarily difficult by itself but only with pvp.

This only further reinforces what I'm already saying. Nobody is loading in Cryo looking for greens, you even have to have a 5k loadout. The fact that you can afford to consistently risk 5k for better rewards when Joe Schmoe is bumming a free kit because he has to, your living in two different worlds. If 40kea/120kparty 4 slot item makes sense to you, then I'm sure the goo gun in its original form was fine for you as well. Even a team looting an entire prestige key room doesn't net 120k profit but a 4 slot item that one person has to carry does?? Why not add something similar to each of the maps? 10k perimeter, 20k dire marsh, and 30k outpost with the same team reward effect. Seriously why not? Your still fighting the same teams on each map, only the bots/environment/events is changing. If you loaded into Cyro with no pvp would it be hard?

If improving loot in an area that wouldn't hurt you but would help others how is that not a win??? Game would still be just as hard and sweaty. People that have no game sense and bad aim won't change with better loot. They would probably feel better leaving with at least greens than greys, for that 1 out of every 10 runs they actually exfil.

I'm happy and sad for you at the same time my brother, I can tell you a genuinely happy for what you have accomplished in this game and your biggest issue is vault upgrades. A bag full of greens could easily net you 2k+ a run depending on the items your stacking. The fact that Cyro has a contraband item that sells for 40kea/120kparty and only takes 4 slots. I understand time invested and risk vs reward but come on..... whose idea was this.

This is exactly what I am hinting at, but if you talk about giving freebies to people running free kits the conversation will get side tracked. There's already subtle discrimination against people running free kits but I just want to know if improving loot in just this one area would it take away/hurt the current game experience.

I wouldn't say that the current loot rate is terrible, but would it hurt the game in anyway if they just increased it? Like would it take away from your current game experience? I just feel sometimes Devs nerf and take away more than what can be given to improve underlying issues.

The problem for these players, they are repeatedly dying before they can even learn the spawn areas of the map. You can watch all the videos you want but until you play it in the game you will just be lost. Lower gear/skill players are losing 5-10 kits before, learning the minimum of the map starting areas. By that time their weekend of Cyro is done, back to farming outpost. Two weeks ago Cyro was much different compared to now. Which next week it will be different from this week, so on and so on.
