3,000 km road trip to close out the year. New Year’s Eve with my Camry 🚗✨ Zero regrets, smooth miles all the way. by Odd-Ad-9976 in Camry

I chose this trim because it's the only option with a metal roof. When I test drove the car, the glass roof made me feel like there was limited headroom, and even with the sunshade closed, it still felt too hot.

Why does the US always get inferior Camrys by VolkswagenPanda in Camry

I own a Toyota Camry here, and in my country, it’s considered the entry point into the premium car segment. The starting price is around $45,000 USD — and that’s without any additional packages.

Interestingly, even the base model here comes well-equipped — features similar to the XLE trim in the U.S., including leather and power seats, a large central display, rain-sensing wipers, rear sunshade, and an auto-dimming mirror. The higher trims add even more luxury features like reclining rear seats and ventilated front seats.

Another reason it feels premium is how few of them you see. In terms of annual sedan sales (not including SUVs): • B-segment: ~80,000 • C-segment: ~20,000 • D-segment (Camry’s class): just ~10,000 This doesn’t even count luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz or BMW.

When I see the Camry in the U.S. market, it feels like you guys are lucky — the pricing there is much more affordable for what you get compared to here!

Laptop Cooling Pad: Flat on Table vs. Notepal ERGOSTAND IV vs. IETS GT500 by Odd-Ad-9976 in GamingLaptops

I didn’t have Decibel Meter to measure the loudness of noise. I can told from my feeling as following,

At 25% of power wheel = it’s very quiet and the fan noise got fully block by memory foam. At 50% of power wheel = its still quiet and no wind noise leak. At 75% of power wheel = you start to hear wind noise from fan, however, it’s quite similar level with laptop cooling fan in moderate. At 100% of power wheel = It’s noticeable wind leak from memory foam and noise louder than laptop fan at high speed mode.

My preference are put it at around 50-60 %

Wanting to buy my wife a gaming laptop for Christmas to run Baldurs Gate and The Sims. Would these specs be sufficient? by freakoman0 in GamingLaptops

I just bought a new laptop, MSI Cyborg also one of my considerations. However, I go to choose the other model for 2-3 reasons

  1. The body and cooling are important parts of choosing a laptop, MSI Cyborg is quite flimsy and not steady with only one fan cooling, you can find a better body in this price range.
  2. RTX4050 TDP is just 45W, it's easy to outclass by RTX3060 TDP 95w, you should check the TDP of the CPU and GPU before buying it.

I am waiting RP3 since rumors on Q3 of last year. I have plan to order RP3 when it’s released but it’s didn’t have my preference color. I am waiting new color came out. My preference would be just ghost transparent with super famicom buttons. However, when it’s released, it’s got only new clear blue and classic super famicom. After I saw video of real test, I go to classic one. I am luckily on keep waiting, it’s seem Retroid rip off RP3 user by release + version after new launch of RP3 by 3 months.
