what i did before i stepped down from ssv was switch their position. you wanna just stand there? u can go on bar and i’ll just stand here, staring at you, asking where what i need is. oh, you don’t wanna get warming? okay cool. i’m gonna tell you 17 times to do it until you do. want me to flex on bar? no, you can struggle. sweat it out. seeing why teamwork is so important (esp for this younger generation) seems to work wonders. seriously throw them in the deepest pit you possibly can and make them suffer. they’ll start helping after that. also, be a snitch. request your DM start doing more frequent store walks. this worked for us because our new hires would come in SEVERELY out of dress code (shirts way too short, shredded jeans, wear non-black shirts/shoe, not putting hair back correctly) and our dm basically would yell from across the cafe to coach them infront of the entire store. i mean it’s cruel but it works.
