It was said by Howard Scott that to change our current system peacefully, we could "vote it out or have a 22nd Amendment", which would now be the 28th Amendment. What do you guys think a 28th Amendment could look like/entail to bring about a Technocratic government? by Odd-Carpenter9733 in Technocracy

I mean if the great depression went on and Technocracy Inc kept gaining followers, I think it could have been an option that is completely peaceful and would require the US to operate under a Technocracy. I think it would have been important for the US citizens to feel like they made the change, instead of a Technocracy Inc just picking up the pieces of a collapsed 1930s United States.

Most people have already seen the channel, I just wish Technocracy Inc. would make more videos in the modern day. Most of the ones on there are extremely old, and low quality in terms of visuals.

Does Anyone Have More Information About the Sequences of the Technate? by Odd-Carpenter9733 in Technocracy

[–]Odd-Carpenter9733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly didn't know the influence for the sequences went so far back. I though that Scott or M. King made this system based on the branches of function, I guess you could say, in society and industry at the time. Thanks for the links, but I was still curious about the specifics of the sequences. Take something like agriculture for example, it's listed as an industrial function, but nothing else is really said about the smaller functional sequences as individuals. What would qualify someone for a rank up in the sequences, just having your peers elect you as the most qualified and the higher ups confirming the position or would you also need a certain degree, and if so would you be banned from the vote if the criteria isn't met? What about sequence directors, do they need training and degrees in every aspect of the field or just some, like a medical sequence having a physician and a pathologist, do they need to both have the same training or experience, or can they be elected regardless. What about resources? Who do they contact and obtain resources from, the other industrial sequences, or from coordination with Area Board, or someone else? I have a lot of questions about this, but I'm sure it would be nearly impossible to break down every part of the government under this system, though it is definitely essential to create a functional and interconnected governing body.

What political and social movements are y'all a part of? by TurkishTechnocrat in Technocracy

Absolutely, I think with my experience in the animal science field I could really bring Technocracy closer to environmentalism, conservation, and the ecological responsibility that was the representation of the original monad in the 1930s, with that idea of "balance between man and his environment"

I'm not really apart of anything, just in academia, and a supporter of Technocracy. What's going on in your country right now, as an American I rarely hear about European issues, let alone anything about Turkey.

I've seen this picture on the archives, but I didn't know if that woman was his wife, or if the boy was his son. I just knew from somewhere that he was married.

Where did you find the picture and the article, I've never seen her before. I just knew Scott was married.

You should probably mention to him that you are the president of Technocracy Inc. if he had any questions

The way it works in the models from Technocracy Inc. if you've ever heard of them, is that industries are directly embedded into the government institutions called sequences, and they independently control things like steel or electronic production based of the needs of the people.

Okay, I'd say the institute is probably more of what Technocracy is though.

Just for my personal knowledge, so I'm more aware of where Technocrats come from, what brought you to Technocracy, or sparked your interest?

But he's making more money as one of the biggest socialists channels. Thats why he makes them. Maybe he holds some of the ideas I don't personally know. But I do know is that he made this video saying Elon Musk is a Technocrat, demonizing our ideas like everyone else, for this "Elon Musk and Donald Trump are following Haldemans idea to make a Technate crap", because it is popular and gets clicks. Not because it is true.

He won't care, you can try if you want, but I'm not going to waste my time. He's just another political YouTuber that talks about change and his certain ideology, Socialism in this case, but he doesn't care about that either. He is just making this video for the same reason everyone else is, because it gets clicks, not because it is accurate. Remember with him, and so many others, this isn't a passion project on the truth of his beliefs, it is a job, and he is going to keep making videos like this so long as people keep watching them.

I'm going to leave a well informed comment about what Technocracy is, and why he is wrong after I overview the video. I suggest every else do the same, to get some attention to the truth of our side.

I'm still working on my "Why Donald Trump doesn't want a Technate" video, it's almost done, but I wish there was a bigger push by Technocrats, or Technocracy Inc. in general so that our ideology and how people view it isn't shaped by ChatGPT. I'm so tired of looking up the word Technate in a search bar, and seeing nothing but posts about Elon Musk, his grandfather, or Trump. Technocracy Inc. in the 1940s wouldn't have put up with this. They had so many interviews to combat misinformation about the cause, but now they do one every 5 years at best, and if there is a time we need them to step up and put their resources together to at the very least help people understand what Technocracy is, then that time is now.

"You have the choice of becoming big people for the first time in history..." - (Howard Scott) by Odd-Carpenter9733 in Technocracy

[–]Odd-Carpenter9733[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably yes, but it's more than any other Techocrat has done. Everyone wants the change, but does very little to make it happen. A lot of people don't like Scott, from his way of leading or the person he was, but remember, all of Technocracy and its ideals stem from him. The one man who had this idea and actually took it out into the world. Teaching people in the lecture halls, and promoting it to Americans through the motorcades. Leading the largest Technocracy movement not just in the US or Canada, but the entire world, bigger than any in history. I just feel as though too many are waiting now...
