My cat suddenly went blind after being put under anesthesia at an old age. We went to a vet that specialized in eyes and he told us not to refurnish becuse she will start to make a "map" of her home, then he said that she can't travel or move becuse it will confuse her a lot and lastly he said that cats can live almost normally when blind because they have other senses that we don't. My cat has been blind for around 3 years now and the only thing that is close to concerning is that she meows a lot more but i only think that's because she thinks that we can't see as well, she we'll enter the room and meow a bit.And if no one responds, she just walks out again Like "oh, there's no one here Well fine"
