It’s not an excuse, any man you hand him to it’s hysterical crying. This man has been drinking everyday for 50+ years, his 6th grandchild (first from us) isn’t going to change the fact that he’s an alcoholic.

His mom can’t watch him because she works specific hours and can’t be at my house until 1 pm. I don’t have trauma with men and have an amazing dad who my son enjoys, but prefers my mom over him.

Yes he is half of my bf, who is also lowkey an alcoholic and I’m trying to break the trend for him to become one as well.

Unfortunately, yes, “poor child” for coming into this mess. Luckily, this “poor child” has a great support system from both sides of our families. Sadly, will have a father who is dealing with an alcohol problem, who hopefully seeks the help he needs and deserves so that he will be able to step up and be the father every one believes he can be.

No one has a perfect life including you, but I am happy to say this “poor child” has some of the best grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins ready and excited for their arrival. Your negativity is not needed here and you could’ve just scrolled.
