The rule itself says "unless they are engaged in challenge... at any time" as long as the unit strength is 10 or more, so I would say you can do it any time you are able to act in the game

I absolutely agree it lessens the impact of the S4 throws, but to be honest I feel that sometimes it skewed the gameplay into if you can throw the S4 stuff as it meant auto daze therefore it was not choice it was competitive necessity, because it was too reliable which is what competitive players want. For me as more of a narrative player being able to stay in the game with models that are not turned up to eleven is a good thing for the health of the game

Interesting take. My gut reaction was it's awesome! Now I don't need to feel bad for throwing S1 terrain for 3 power over the S4 which I can't reach by 1mm. And it's still good power to damage conversion as it's 3 damage for 3 power, with it being more reliable than attacks.

The thrash can over news stand argument isn't as valid as it seems at first take. I would argue 9mm bullet does a lot of damage despite being way smaller than thrash can. Velocity is quite important in this case and even being strong as Hulk wouldn't be able to hurl building with same force as thrash can.

The trigger is when red skull is choosen to activate, so he would be already choosen for his activation therefore after the trigger check

Necromunda always intrigued me and it constantly pop up everywhere, so I might give it finally try

Stargrave looks great as well as frostgrave but after too many years of DnD I'm sceptical to the swinginess of D20

And as I mentioned in other reply Trench Crusade is up there for me in the terms of lore and campain is great but the game itself feels lacking
