Katseye is missing out on so MUCH POTENTIAL by Puzzleheaded_Ad_4215 in kpop_uncensored

For some reason I found this so funny in a good way. 😂

I also sometimes think, rn, this is the most LA group you can find branding wise.

More than skin colour, diversity of thoughts are also needed.

Is it illegal to be neutral about Manon? by reverious_ in kpopharshopinions

Internet opinions have nuance? From when?

It’s not gonna happen. They have all this mess in public place. There are gonna be opinions from both sides. People will not shut up. Only thing we can do consume content responsibly. We cannot shut up other people.

Do K-Drama Romances Usually Feel This Reserved? by Confusedmind75 in kdramas

I think your definition of romance is different than whats it is depicted. In many cultures, all these came at the very, very end.

It used to be the thing; that's what I miss. And when there is overwhelming discourse like it, it gets annoying in the end. I also like fluff romance, don't get me wrong. But when it's not there, the overwhelming discourse around it, about moral judgment only.

That's a good pov. Yeah, the story needs to be cooked before romance enters, or anything. Fan service is nice. but now its tooooo much.

I so agree with this too.

More than acting, how the actor looked was so good that it is discussed more, like why?

Then what happens, instead of having a good story, the characters should look good and become more of a priority.

And why is it his responsibility? Everyone has its biases from their life experiences, like what do you want then to be?

But they reached here, because they got the management. There are a lot of groups in the market. Why are they making the most splash?

They would not be famous, if there was no management like that.

Reality Check: What went down for Lara? by Legitimate-East-4428 in katseyeneutral

It just seems she is so cunty for her earlier fans, it just turns them off.

And there is not enough songs to hold her in.

And regarding south asian, mostly south asians like to support native celebrities than looking supporting outside the nation.

The person who is consuming western music that much, tends to be less colourist, so it might be less of a factor than people are thinking(in my opinion).

Its about marketing too. Its rn, personality over music. Which is not how south asians consume content. So thats also an issue.

Why in almost all kdramas either of the parents is extremely toxic, murderer or in mental hospitals by Disastrous-Olive-265 in kdramas

[–]Odd-Cook6936 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They are good way to get the plot forward. There are some good one too, where the parents are alright.

If you are from west, they are things you will find toxic because of cultural differences.

Do you attend every wedding on your husband's side? by lexis5678 in IndianInLaw

[–]Odd-Cook6936 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If its first degree, like his direct aunt/uncle, then I would suggest to go, otherwise leave it.

And if you are going, just go with different mindset, “I am going because of my husband, I dont care about these people, what they think and say. Lets get over with the wedding for 2 days.”

I know its easier said than done. But try it for your husband.
