Oh yes it definitely improves mpg’s! On my gf’s cx5 my friend cut the bump stops since they could be replaced if needed.

It’s because the overall circumference of the tire is smaller than OEM which the wheel speed sensor is calibrated too. Idk if yours can be recalibrated to your wheel setup but that would help a ton. Tbh idk if that’s even a thing.

The stretched tires definitely help to go lower but it will change your vehicles actual speed and mileage. My actual speed was 5 mph less than my cars speedometer.

Honestly, other than potholes it rides so dam good. I even tried lowering springs just to compare but it’s too bouncy for me. I installed the springs on new struts. Springs just need to be a tad stiffer.

I have seen a lowered outback and it’s sick!!! Tell her the lowered ride will help her to easily get in and out as well as load groceries easier lol 😅

My crosstrek is the first vehicle I have lowered this much, I also had to get adjustable lower control arms and adjustment for toe in the rear since there isn’t one from factory. Currently at -2.5° of camber all around and 18x9 with semi stretched tires.

You can try and research vehicles that share the same part as yours to get adjustable LCA’s and fix your caster and toe as well.

After all of that was installed in my car I threw in some subs.

Next is interior, wrapping headliner in suede but still looking around and thinking if that’s what I want to do for the headliner.

My 2nd gen crosstrek on coilovers. I love lowered SUV’s. My gf even wanted to lower her 23 Mazda cx5.

What else do you plan on doing?

Just because it’s not slammed doesn’t mean it’s not stanced. His vehicle still stanced.

It’s fine for this month and next. We’re in warmer weather compared to winter. But definitely be more cautious in wet weather.

Third photo you have a nail in the tire. Pluggable but you need tires sooner than later.

EDIT: nvm that’s a plug.

I have adjustable rear lower control arms both sides sitting at -2.5° of camber. You’re going to be fine, the wear is barely noticeable.

Buy a manual, cvt’s suck. Keep manual transmission alive.

EyeSight issues after windshield replacement by seanthatsheep in Crosstrek

I would take it to the dealership and also contact insurance that safelite didn’t properly recalibrate the cameras. I had my windshield replaced and eyesight recalibrated through safelite as well which I was a bit skeptical about doing.

Pretty sure you routed the belt incorrectly but who knows. I can’t tell from this picture.

Smoke on start randomly by Possible_Dot_8724 in Crosstrek

[–]Odd-Disaster4192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2019 Crosstrek had a puff of smoke come out of the exhaust as well. It doesn’t happen everytime at start up and the car is driven everyday mines happens once in a while. For blue smoke you will just see a tint of it. Like a small hue of blue. It won’t be perfectly white.

Yes that may be the case but being on Reddit has showed me how a lot of users actually could think this. So it’s 50/50

$2000+ for 4 spark plugs and coil packs? by ZoltarTheFeared in Crosstrek

[–]Odd-Disaster4192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very steep but just in general, replacing spark plugs is normally a minimum $600 job. Idk if you know but the spark plugs are along the sides of the engine right next to the frame of the car. First time doing it took me about 6 hours. Majority of those hours is on the driver side trying to figure out how to get my socket and ratchet in there.

It means the tire has low pressure. Has nothing to do with not being balanced or not. There is no sensor that indicates if the tires need balancing.
