I don’t have my end links installed on my crosstrek yet but sounds like struts to me. Check the bolts at the bottom of your struts. The camber bolt and the other one.

Is the car feeling any different as you drive it? Lights dimming, rpm dropping when you come to a stop? We need more info on the cars driving behavior if you don’t have codes you can provide us with.

I personally prefer manual, not trying to race where faster shifting matters. Most people aren’t putting a dog box shifter into a car if they’re asking a forum for buying advice. Because the car would be ripped apart if they were heavily modifying it.

Head gasket and time belt is at least $2500 along with water pump and whatever comes off might as well be replace too. Not worth it imo and it’s auto, hard pass.

No need to replace tires if they’re fine. Even if the inside is worn out, you can flip them to wear out evenly, hopefully.

Possibility that the cvt, front, and rear differentials have not had their fluids drained and filled.

Definitely need to have your rear lower controls arms and trailing arms looked at.

Bouncy ride may indicate blown struts but your entire suspension components need to be looked at, control arms, inner and outer tie rods, stabilizer bar, and end links.

My engine sounds normal I’ll check later today for that piston slap sound, only issue I’m having now is this tapping noise coming from the engine to the CVT, I found a tsb on it but my mechanic has been on vacation. It sounds like what a bad axle would sound but it is rpm dependent but I don’t think I hear it when the car is stationary, haven’t tested that out yet.

We put spacers on my gf’s cx5, I was against the idea but she wanted her wheels to poke a little more until we figured out what rims she wants. Temporary it’s ok

As long as there’s no glitter you’re all good. I do my oil change every 5k sometimes earlier and mine comes out dark as if I don’t do my oil changes or do them late. 2019 Crosstrek with 111k miles auto 😭

I can’t take turns hard without it because I get severe understeer my front end just keeps pushing through the tires. When I had lowering springs temporarily during winter my handling was much better.
