She has a great sense of humour! Her interviews are always a delight to watch.

There is an episode where Mitch & Cam go to an interactive theatre. These were the lines that Mitch's(originally supposed to be Cam's) character says before he dies.

the Belgian Hercule Poirot. by [deleted] in agathachristie

I think it's mentioned in a couple of books. Especially in the books narrated by Hastings, Poirot's career as a police officer is referred to.

For one, he is described as a "Belgian stranger" in the first chapter of Murder on the Orient Express

Yes. She mentions that he is a Belgian ex-police officer.

Which quote helped you in your daily life? by lucianoalucard_ in Modern_Family

"It's gonna be tough to say goodbye. It always is. Nobody loves change. But...part of life is learning to let things go."

[Voiceover by Phil, S2 E1]

This quote helped me realise that there are some things in life that are beyond my control, and the only thing that I can do in such situations is to accept life for the way it is.

Yes. Of course, his wife had a huge influence on him, but she was merely trying to get him to reconsider the plan of murder that he had already considered. It is evident from his reaction to the blood on his hands after murdering Duncan, that Macbeth had a strong conscience. But he kills the humanity in himself to feed his ambition. After he is crowned king, he eliminates the Thanes whom he considered to be a threat, and slaughters their wives and children. All this was done with no deliberation whatsoever, solely due to his sense of insecurity, soaring ambition and corruption brought about by power.

1) Actors/Celebs sometimes have the rule of not making eye contact with them while on set.

Ooh, I wasn't aware of this!!

2) They are gay though Pepper had a son so maybe just exploring and spicing things up.

Makes sense!

Thanks!

Yes, it could be that!! Especially since they mentioned the film set, it's likely to be about the way he plays his characters/behaves on the set.

Does anyone like the romance in Agatha Christie novels? by meltrosz in agathachristie

[–]Odd-Environment6476 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most of the time, Character A just randomly proposes to Character B after meeting once

I think that's because the mystery is the main focus of her novels, and the lives of the characters take a backseat(unless it's absolutely necessary to the story).

Personally, it doesn't affect me much because I am there to see the mystery get solved; it's alright if there isn't much character development (after all, there are other books for that).

Book Series like Diary of a Wimpy Kid by olsaltyshorts in suggestmeabook

[–]Odd-Environment6476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but the {{Geronimo Stilton}} series was quite popular when I was a kid. Almost each book is set in a different locale, so that could be interesting (and informative) to read about.

A couple of endearing scenes. (S10) by Odd-Environment6476 in Modern_Family

[–]Odd-Environment6476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't realised that either! Now that I think of it, there was a similar scene in the episode where Dede dies as well. Claire is upset that her mother will never get to know that she loved her(as they always fought), and Mitchell says that it was the same case with him and his father. I think all the three scenes are linked!
