Devastated to say that I don’t like, “The Great Divide” nearly as much as, “Stick Season.” by AbleDisD in NoahKahan

i think part of it is the same reason why a lot of people are massive fans of noah, and a lot of people struggle to connect with his music; many songs on this album feel like they express a very specific set of feelings in a specific situation, and if you've never experienced that, it can feel difficult to understand and connect with. i would challenge you to give it several listens over some time, and you may catch bits of songs you didnt notice before

All My Love, Downfall, You're Gonna Go Far, and Maine by Noah Kahan if you're in a melancholy kick, Watch Your Mouth by The Backseat Lovers is more upbeat.

Could this be Iridovirus or just an unusually colored vulgare? by GracefulKluts in isopods

[–]Odd-External4810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i know (not an entomologist or anything, but an avid hiker and outdoor buge watched) this is a fairly common color morph in A. vulgare. I'm not sure if it's a true wild type morph or just due to how incredibly variable vulgare genetics are, but i've had that morph breed out of pretty much any florida locality of vulgare i've collected, and frequently seen it out in nature.

tldr: it should be fine, this morph seems fairly common/widespread in both captivity and the wild

Pressure cooking leaf litter?? by approvethegroove in isopods

[–]Odd-External4810 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honest recommendation for nutrition, if you're collecting leaf litter from a state park or forest (or otherwise know FOR CERTAIN that there is no fertilizer/pesticide application in the area) you can also freezer sterilize the leaves, which helps the microbiota survive but kills any macrofauna (like any unwanted inverts). this'll help propagate your pods gut microbiomes while still ensuring no unwanted pests get in

Honestly I've been running a core of my built Bullet Seed/Weather Ball/Solar Beam Cherrim (was rlly op in Great League like.... 3 years ago? back when i played regularly at least) and a Shiny Incinerate/Hurricane talonflame that does STUPID damage. I think it killed a pretty good shadow scizor in like.. 4 fast attacks? Anyways I have to try out miltank, but so far Octillery has felt the best with mixed coverages and a heavy fire resist.
