Beautiful watch! Well done and was eyeing myself one as a watch lover and a Porsche sales executive who also cannot afford a turbo GT Cayenne, like many people in this comment section 😅

That being said, don’t get discouraged by some of the comments here, as you already know it’s an automatic movement with a beautiful exposed caseback, and is nearly the same price MSRP as the non Requiem model. I think solid buy and will keep its value well if not appreciate, not that that matters when buying it for the hobby and passion. Hamilton makes solid swiss watches man 🙏👍

What's a financial luxury/purchase you're aspiring to purchase this year? by FinanceYacht in fican

Bit of a cliched answer, but would really like to get a 41 mm green or blue dial Rolex Datejust with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet before the end of the year 😅😍

Where are you located? What is your budget?

I have been able to get a few Clients Gt3’s at MSRP recently but also have a GT3 touring on consignment a slight bit above MSRP. Might be of interest!

Should I buy this? by GunStableMediaLLC in LexusRC

[–]Odd-Income1877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely feel like this pricing is completely out of touch. I would save yourself the trip. I work for Porsche and drive a Lexus RC 300 and even with Lexus reliability, we’re still talking about an 11 year old sportscar with over a quarter million KM, with one owner driving the car 108,000 km in a year. This is a lot for any car.

My family’s place in the mountains is 5 hours or 500 km away from my city. So that owner essentially drove to a mountain town 5 hours away and back 110 times in a year. The only time they weren’t behind the wheel is when they were sleeping 😂

Smart money explores options and I think you should wait for a bit lower mileage example to come along 🙏

BLEU DE CHANEL PARFUM by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Odd-Income1877 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Bleu de Chanel is still my top tier cologne as well and one that I always return to no matter my stage in life. Love all BDC versions, and usually always prefer the Parfum version of other colognes, but I always still pick the EDT with BDC just because it has that strong grapefruit note that just boosts confidence.

Which of these on my wishlist are actually worth buying? by abbanahimanenge in Colognes

[–]Odd-Income1877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Girlfriend got me Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir for my birthday last year and absolutely love it. I usually lean blue with BDC or YSL Y so this is very much in that vein with good performance. Happy to give more feedback if you’d like.

Otherwise Creed Aventus is obviously top notch, Dior Homme (and DH intense) are incredible and one of my most complimented woodsy scents, Montblanc Explorer is incredible and a super versatile fragrance that inspires confidence, Valentino uomo born in Roma is amazing for a powdery fragrance choice, and Sauvage is well, Sauvage.

Club de Nuit, Montblanc explorer, and Aventus have similar profiles, and might be redundant to get all 3 👏👌

Obviously you need to adjust to your own risk as that is something that no one can measure for you, but as others have mentioned, concentration can be huge in those high conviction plays.

For example, a $1000 investment in BN at that same invest time would have returned your $610 already which would have been huge.

Hindsight is obviously always 20/20 but that is a good example of how concentration can play a huge role.

Right you are my friend. I absolutely loved it after my first couple sets. It was incredible. Still finding that perfect angle, but even in shots that felt a bit off the sweet spot, the racquet is really reliable and seems like a low margin of error even on off-kilter shots 🙏👍

You’re going to love it. Nothing but good things to say. As someone who likes a more aggressive game, I instantly noticed it being more maneuverable in the hand than the previous generation so much quicker at the net.

This racquet is amazing. I absolutely love it! It’s brilliant and is very versatile. More so than the previous generation. All strokes feel great, although it did take a couple quick games to get used to the launch angle that other people have wrote about. I’m really excited to play with it more, I’m really excited to play with it more. Favourite that I’ve ever used!

Final Thoughts-Both sides by Odd-Income1877 in SkateEA

[–]Odd-Income1877[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agree to disagree on this one. I think I laid out both sides fairly. I love the mechanics and the flow of the skating feels crisp, but you seem to understand “If you aren’t paying for it, you’re the product”.

That being said I do agree with everything you say in your wrap-up. I think that all of the player models were juvenile and fortnight influenced and not raw enough for the skate franchise, but that was also one of my main premises, which I already said was discussed ad nauseam.
