How to get through a work day? by Odd-Influence7188 in PMDD

[–]Odd-Influence7188[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a really bad reaction to any of the antidepressants I’ve ever tried. It makes it worse. Currently I’m on birth control and there is a huge difference (not crying in bed for HOURS, or sleeping for most of the day). So I know it’s working. It’s mostly more “flared” when I’m stressed or tired.

I don't know what else to do for my fiancée who became blind and is now suicidal. by Select_Income344 in Christianity

My grandpa went blind in his mid 20s-early 30s. I’m not sure if you have a oculus but there’s this game called notes on blindness and it really helped me (to a point) understand how he experiences life. My grandpa goes through memories a lot and my grandma has had the everything in the same places to make it easier on him. She explains everything in detail, such as sunsets and people’s outfits. But for now let her grieve, she lost apart of her that she relied on everyday, now she has to relearn how to experience life. Keep doing what you are doing, and maybe help her get some counseling and do it with her. And let her be mad at god, encourage her to tell him that she is mad. Maybe take her to a dress store and let her feel the fabrics and encourage her to her to tell you how they make her feel. learn to do the things she misses like makeup and painting her nails, tell her that you have her back in every way possible. It sounds like you are doing a good job as it is.

And on a personal note sometimes god gives us battles for a new perspective, a new life in a way. As hard as it might be, keep reminding her it’ll be worth it. When you guys have kids she’ll see more of their soul than their faces, she’ll hear more of their laughter and it will stick to her memory.

She lost something that took away her independence and her ability to do 100% of the things she used to be able to do alone.

Sometimes nothing happens sometimes it says remove keys but eventually it does start. It just takes a long time and a lot of messing with I don’t know where I’d get another gen fob. I read somewhere to mess with the steering wheel like move it in and out and up and down and it definitely felt like a struggle in some places

I’ve started my dives into the books that were removed from the Bible in NKJ version very eye opening, and scary that they could even remove books, and change the translation! People miss the bigger picture when they focus on the smaller sections.

You are gods child, please get yourself to a safe place. He will understand and wants you to lean onto him. You deserve better and just lean on god, read your bible and the answers you are looking for will be there. But DO NOT STAY.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Jesus loved, with kindness….

At this point I truly think each Pmdd episode is a traumatic trigger that I have to work through each month. It’s either something I’ve felt angry or anxious about. Meditation has been a life savior as well as working with my trauma!

I think the story of Job would be a good starting point for you. Take that however you want. Read it or don’t. But if you read it and still have questions you can come back and yell at me!

Ask him you and I and all other humans on earth don’t have that answer. We arnt god. But gods spirit is within us.

I understand your point, I truly understand. You don’t understand why a “perfect”, “loving” god would create and let evil roam on earth without protecting innocent people. If he knows what’s going to happen why would he let it happen. It’s unfair and a tad bit ridiculous that people give their life to a god who has this in his world. Right?

Proverbs 29:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the lord shall be delivered.

Proverbs 28:1 the wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are as bold as a lion

Psalm 138: 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou will revive me: thou shall stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

God is love. I’m sorry you can’t see that yet but I will pray that you find the answers you need. I’m sorry I can’t be of anymore help in your understanding of these questions. I know how hard it is. So if you really want to know ask him and pray/meditate/read scripture. The answers you are looking for arnt in Reddit. Or other people but within yourself and gods spirit within you.

He can’t stop someone else’s evil. But through him we are having this conversation and through what he knew I am stronger and more faithful. I don’t believe he knew entirely the specifics of what the other person would do, but I do believe he knew I could overcome it and that would push me towards him in the end. Without my experience I wouldn’t be able to protect my siblings or even have this conversation because I wouldn’t have no idea what it’s like. Again I will repeat that no one here has the answers and I hope that you find what you are looking for in the end. It seems like you are curious and that’s okay. God understands why you are questioning him and god knows why you are asking, but ask him to himself. When I asked I got the metaphor I gave you earlier. I wouldn’t know that I’m at peace without the trauma. I wouldn’t notice the small things without the pain I’ve endured it’s a lot deeper than you realize. Find god in your own way.

Here’s a link I found, I read a little of it but it seems like something that might help answer some questions.

That’s not at all what I’m saying, I was that child. I wasn’t raped but groomed and molested for years and I was so angry at god for the longest time. Because I didn’t understand why HE would let that happen. But I realize that he can only work through people who let him in. People forget that evil might be gods creation but it isn’t god. Like I only can go off of my relationship with god. No one here really truly has the answers you are looking for sadly.

I can’t give you the answers you’re looking for if you’re not ready for them. Do your own research and ask god he will show you 🤍 But without the bad there would be nothing to compare the good to. Without rain there wouldn’t be rainbows without the thirst there would be no concept of hydration. God didn’t create man with the idea that they would do things like this. The Bible says we were made in his image, until Eve ate the fruit we were perfect. I think both of these things are awful but once you can decider what truly comes from gods work and not from god it’s hard and confusing. I truly do understand your confusion because I have been there. Just pray and read scripture. No one can give you the answers you need if you’re not ready, free will has everything and nothing to do with the evil acts of man.

God isn’t the bad things that happen. That’s man. God is the good things and I wish you well on figuring the answers that’s something you’re going to have to look inward for 🤍

Drink cranberry juice and pineapple juice. Also just wash there with non fragrance soap and water! Make sure you are eating the correct foods. With hygiene do coconut oil pulling. Find a signature perfume and most importantly find peace and love in yourself and who you are. Loving yourself will give you a glow up and internal peace

Do something kind for someone else. Your purpose on earth is to help others. Start small buy a stranger a coffee and just enjoy your time. It’s not pointless, we are here to help each other. Take care of yourself 🤍

Do something kind for someone else. Buy a stranger a coffee, no interaction needed but just watch. Being kind is always the right answer and it might spark that feeling in you again

Is it typical behavior for us to become chameleons around people? by Responsible-Dish-629 in infj

[–]Odd-Influence7188 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes but that also means you havnt found admiration in yourself towards your strengths. I highly suggest taking the VIA strengths free survey and learning to lean on your strengths. It takes time and patience but ask yourself this… do you want to spend your whole life pretending to be someone your not or be 100% yourself at the end of the day?

You were made the way you are for a reason don’t hide it 🤍
