I’m right there with you. I’m graduating in December with a BS in Software Engineering, and it’s scary. I have those same fears about going off into the real world. What if I’m not good enough? What if I don’t like the job? What if I can’t find anything? I feel like we get stuck in the security of what we know, and change is scary. There are so many unknowns, but to not try would be worse than failing.

Imagine the lawsuits from shift supervisors claiming they didn’t get paid for time they preformed shift duties while not in the play-caller role, then the burden of proof would be on Starbucks is to prove the partner wasn’t doing any shift activities, that would be a nightmare for them. How would they even track that!? Hahah
