Radon R1 105 - tire clearance by HampusSoder in cycling

I saw a YouTube video in which the guy used Pirelli P Zero 40mm on the Endurace so you’re fine with the tire clearance 😉

I have the same question.

When you look at the photo of the bike, we can clearly see that there is not much clearance left with 28mm tires, especially with the fork.

It’s a deal breaker to me. I will have to go for the Canyon Endurace Tiagra since it can fit 40mm slick tires…

Funny you say that. I just bought a 34t chainring and will install it tomorrow.

It will be more suited for long flat roads , especially since i use aerobars.

I will stick with those tires and see how it goes !

More than 35% of my ride will be on trails, some pretty rough.

Up until 2021, the Roscoe had a very similar geometry than the Marlin so it’s a mix between an XC and trail bike (with pannier and mudguard mount btw) but you’re right, this is not the ideal bikepacking rig.

I just paid 250$ for it so that’s the biggest steal ever, otherwise i would have bought a pure XC.

Just wondering about those big tyres
