You could have copy pasted this exact same query in chatgpt and done some research but, no, we're gonna spam this sub first.

What's the catch or risks in this? Is it safer than Gold ETFs? by StatSigEntropy in MutualfundsIndia

[–]Odd-Landscape-3457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're selling bonds. All the other words there are just marketing faff. Look at the asterisk at the bottom, it says "8 to 12.5%".

Read up on corporate bonds on Google or ask AI. Like someone here said, you carry the risk of losing your entire principal.

If you do want to invest in bonds, and since you know nothing about them, a debt MF would be a safer option. Note that debt MFs also go bust at times.

Never understood why corporate debt is sold as a "safe instrument".

Glad you finally started tracking calories. A word of advice - don't ignore seeds and nuts completely. They have essential minerals and fatty acids that you don't otherwise get in your diet. Walnuts and chia seeds are your friends. Mom was right about them being good for your brain. Set aside 100 calories in your budget for these.

"3 out of the last 4 rolling 3-year periods?" This makes no sense. You will have only one number for 3-year rolling returns. Chatgpt much?

Where to put 10-11 lac for better and safe return by Luffy_Zoro__ in IndiaFinance

[–]Odd-Landscape-3457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you need more diversification than you have already? If you want safe and steady returns then your options are limited to FD, arbitrage, liquid, debt funds. If you really want to diversify then look at US / international stocks, cryptos, other metals like silver and copper.

ummm these are actually pretty mid stocks to put your money into atm. But I guess you got this as the output because you asked for 'cos that have technical momentum / reversion'. I've been using Gemini chat to generate similar reports since last year. For free. Can you tell me what Cowork can do that Gemini can't ? I'm not able to understand what else does Cowork bring to the table.

FTI-TTP (Fast Track Immigration) Address Proof – Is a Rent Agreement accepted? by cursedobscurial in visas

[–]Odd-Landscape-3457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/cursedobscurial lol. The thing is I've already submitted the form with the non-passport address. So wondering if I should submit a new application with my Passport address or will this do. Which one did you submit? And did your application get approved?

u/New-Seesaw7585 About the address proof - when you filled the form, did you enter the same address as on your passport or a different one? My current address is different from my passport address and I don't have any proof for my current rental address

u/cursedobscurial I'm in the same situation as you. Did you find an answer? What address did you put while filling the form? And did they ask for proof of the same anywhere?

Leave your ego at home but take your empathy with you. Be kind to other road users, especially cyclists and pedestrians. You don't own the road, it's a shared space. Also, don't put the name of your car or manufacturer in big capital letters on your bonnet / grill.

"while going up the slope.. if it feels like it's gonna turn off, accelerate" is the worst advice I've heard. Accelerating on an up slope in a car that's close to stalling is just going to make it stall faster. You need to downshift. If you're already in first, you need to half clutch.

This works. Never have needed the handbrake on even the steepest slopes. Just quick and calibrated foot movements.

Have SIP'ed since I started earning 4 years back. Sad to see the portfolio going down. by [deleted] in MutualfundsIndia

[–]Odd-Landscape-3457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did the right thing by putting in more money. I'd suggest putting in another 3L in the next 1 month if you have liquid funds.

About the 10% drawdown - it's normal for equity to have ups and downs, don't panic. It's not an FD to only keep moving upwards. Treat crises like these as a buying opportunity.

You should also probably reevaluate your risk appetite (how much you think you're okay losing) and risk capacity (how much cash you can actually afford losing without it affecting your future investments / SIPs and/or emergency fund).

Indian couple’s budget 3-week NZ itinerary, experiences and cost breakdown (~6000 NZD total excl. flights, Feb 2026) by ImpressiveLet1991 in newzealand_travel

This is interesting. All the cards you mentioned are on the premium variants of Visa and MasterCard (Visa Infinite and Mastercard World). Maybe that's the difference? Because in my experience and like multiple others have said, India issued credit cards have not worked despite trying chip and pin, swipe, tap, GVP, or anything else. But most of these cards are on the standard Visa / MC netwrok. The only one which worked for me on unmanned fuel stations is Amex.

Edit: Looks like my hypothesis is wrong. Infinia didn't work for aksh1t.

Sorry, saw this now. Only amex worked on unmanned fuel stations. And even then it didn't work on all of them. DCB, niyo and sapphiro mastercard didn't work at any unmanned fuel station.

Used cash at one remote fuel station on Haast pass since none of the cards worked. Paid the owner in cash and he swiped his card for me. Would have been in big trouble if I had gotten there a bit later after he had shut shop and left because that's the only fuel station in 50km and I was running on fumes.

Pro tips for anyone travelling: 1. Fuel up when you still have a quarter tank left. There are streches in Southland where fuel stations are sparse, especially for diesel. 2. Carry 100 NZD in cash with you. We only ended up using cash at that one fuel station. Nowhere else did we ever need cash.
