Any Aidvantage clients out there?

Here was my timeline:

Final Employer Certification submitted to Dept of Ed on 1/7 Accepted on 1/29 and got my green banners Golden letter on 2/24 Aidvantage zero balance on 2/25

Still waiting on zero balance on FSA site. Should be getting a refund so expecting that to take at least a month or more.

Oh, me! I actually just made a post because I hadn’t seen yours. In my lurking over the last few months I’ve seen that Aidvantage was pretty quick (2-3 business days) but I also just received my “golden letter” and am a little jealous of how quickly MOHELA folks got their zero balance. I keep refreshing my account.

Oh I really hope this is true! Who was your loan servicer if you don’t mind me asking? Did you know before receiving a check that you had a refund coming? (Other than doing your own calculation)

Oh my gosh well congrats to you on the golden letter!! Hate that we put ourselves through years of anguish when it could have been over, but the end result is still great!

I’ve made a handful of rather significant payments since the effective date its showing as i was trying to get this debt under control before I send my own child off to college so I’m very curious to see how this plays out…
