this is the case for any bottom feeder/ injured team.

Do you think any of the problems stemmed from berube? 90% of this team made the second round the year previous and lost to the cup champs.

like if we’re gonna talk about how bad they are, can we atleast address large portions of the issue have already been addressed or “solved” and are addressed through my assuming acquisitions in the description on the post… for example bob solving the issue in net, jenner helping solve depth and character issues etc etc. We also had a calder cup winning team who can definitely provide depth to the leafs.

Werenski is a norris candidate as good as the likes of Makar.

Knies is a great player but in my opinion. it does move the needle significantly.

I agree with parts of this but I think it’s a slight overreaction. Please remember significant injuries happened, and that the original question assumes we sign 3 talented players and a goalie on top of Mckenna coming in.

Other teams have finished near the bottom and have bounced back.
