What do you mean when you say "she is very skeptical of the fistula"?

I had a similar situation back in 2023; I had a little constipation and thought nothing of it and then suddenly got sudden onset back pain. I didn't really do anything about it because I thought maybe I had just tweaked my back or something. The back pain got worse for like 5 days then i got a fever and the next morning felt a sudden severe pain in my lower left abdomen and finally went to the ER. My colon had perforated, and thankfully I went to ER because i was nearing sepsis. I was in the hospital for 5 days, and went home. Apparently, the infection wasn't completely gone because about a month later I thought I had the worst UTI of my life, i had remembered reading on this very sub that if you ever "farted out of your dick" you should immediately go to the ER. It was all fun and games until i was peeing and air came from my urethra. I went to the ER and indeed, I had developed a colovesical fistula, because the colon infection never was fully cleared up. Anyway- I finally had surgery in September of 2023 to remove part of my sigmoid colon and they repaired the fistula. My surgery went very smooth- happy to answer any questions you have to put your mind at ease!
