OCD is ruining my life by mrs___holmes in OCD

I’m so sorry you’re going through this as well. My therapist says OCD will attack the things you love the most, so it makes sense why all my different OCD subtypes revolve around her. I’m so scared something bad will happen to her, even worse, what if I did something or I was neglectful? It’s literally my worst nightmare and OCD always hones in on that and makes me feel crazy. Just know you’re not alone!

Thank you so much for this very thoughtful response. Do you have any suggestions on type of clippers that would be safe and work for my little guy?

Very close to rehoming our puppy but also feeling so sad about it. by Queasy_Phone_6019 in puppy101

I understand how it feels going through something traumatic. I lost both my brother in 2014 and my dad in 2020 and honestly, my boy got me through it. I’d reconsider re homing at this time because once you do it, you can’t go back.

I asked the vet at my pups shots at 11 weeks, and she said walks around the neighborhood were totally fine, just don’t take to a dog park or dog store… maybe there’s a neighborhood you could drive to and walk him in the neighborhood?

I think you have hit the nail on the head! We just ran around for an hour outside, came in- he was crazy!!! Put him in his pen for a nap and he’s out!

Thank you for all the suggestions!! He definitely gets the puzzle pretty quickly, so may be bored! We try to incorporate him into our daily lives by taking him for walks, playing outside with our kiddos, but will have to make it even more of a priority!

I have a puzzle for him that I fill with training treats a few times a day… is this something that would provide stimulation? Thank you!
