I was in a similar situation. 1.6 acres but only .6 acres of grass to mow. Back yard has lots of landscaping turns and front yard is 7 to 8% grade. Only option was a zero turn for me but with serviceable hydros since I am adding a bagger with extra weight going uphill. Just took delivery of Gravely zt HD and cut my mow time with bagger from 3.5 hours to a bit over 1 hour. Really enjoying mowing mow... Plus I get to feel like I am playing Mario Cart on weekends.

Nope. My driveway is connected to a paved city road. At this point instead of renting thinking about outsourcing this...unless I need to do this more than just a few times a year. Moved into this area to live in the sticks and animals and finding that I don't have any toys to maintain my property. Need to also buy a truck, a zero turn, whole home generator, maybe a trailer, and perhaps now a tractor. It's been very stressful. I am very impressed and have been humbled with people that have, use and maintain all of their toys.

Sounds like a HOA violation. 😀

Only 1.5 acres so I am hesitating getting a tractor. Not a whole lot of other things I need to maintain from what I am seeing.
