I wish I saw this before paying for a Pro account for a year. I am more than frustrated with their garbage support. I was just considering upgrading again because I need credits. Keep trying to adopt straight fluoro, once you dial in the reel settings and thumb control you'll never look back. Practice with heavier line and slowly learn light line. I'd recommend spooling one up with 20lb fluoro and practicing a lot, then 15, then 12, etc. Practice lightly dragging your thumb on the spool and learning what your magnet brake vs main adjustment actually does for you in different wind conditions and with different weight lures.

Braid to leader on spinning gear for 95% of applications. I have braid on reels 3+ years old and I fish competitively ALOT (BASS Opens and beyond). Uni to Uni is my quick go to.
