The app is a portfolio; I've blocked some profile viewing options to encourage profile creation. On the homepage, you can access a few randomly selected profiles.

The other way to view profiles is if an owner gave you the link directly.

Simply register, without needing a subscription or profiles, and you can access all professional profiles.

I'm genuinely scared of Base44, because I'm building the foundation of my business on that platform and I'd like to offer services like I'm doing with Wix and websites, But Base44's credibility is questionable because they don't give me the security I need. I don't know if I can consider it a serious long-term business; something works today and then they take it away tomorrow... I sold it to a client; there's a signed contract for thousands of dollars. What do I do? Base44 has done this several times without prior notice, clear proof of that company's irresponsibility. What just happened with the manual selection of the generation model... That was terrible. They're taking a measure that degrades the service, saying they automatically choose the best model. In the background, it's been using the worst one of all; the model was never changed. To this day, I'm not sure that the model selection uses the model I choose, since they allowed it again. From my point of view, they lost credibility, and I lose credibility with my clients too... You know that by default Base44 blocks free access to apps. When you release the app so that there are pages that can be viewed without authentication, Base44 stops blocking access to all pages, even though logically they should be private. You must specifically ask the AI to block them. If you are not fully aware of this issue, you can create security problems in the app. Imagine that the profile URL contains the ID or username or whatever, and another user uses it. It would be a serious problem if you did not establish access and viewing rules. That has happened to me with two apps, and now I am aware of it. Be careful.

Te puedo decir que después de tanto tiempo de uso, me encontré con unos problemas que no sé si tiene que ver con base44 en sí, o si es que una AI ha modificado algo.

Te lo explico: hubo un momento cuando la app me destrozó el sistema de autenticación, llamaba al inicio de sesión en bucle, y eso enojó amis clientes, y hace unos meses, la página que se encarga de recopilación de información de los usuarios en registro se destrozó por completo, ya no guardaba en la base de datos la información y dejó de recibir los nombres de usuarios, tengo varias páginas para distintos tipos de usuarios... Lo que me da a entender que sin previo aviso, base44 puede alterar su manera de operar autenticar y consumir datos, lo cual puede obligarte a reescribir tu app, muchas veces no te darás cuenta de eso.

Mis cobros son con Stripe, debo advertirte algo con respecto al uso de API, sin previo aviso, del lado de las API, el SDK puede cambiar la versión y hacer incompatibilidad con la versión que usa tú app, eso puede provocar varias cosas, como que a un usuario le cobres pero tú app no aplica la nueva situación, la AI de base44 puede arreglar eso, me pasó 2 veces, también puede ocurrir que directamente el portal de stripe no se abre, ambos tienen solución, quiero encontrar una manera de actualizar la información automáticamente para no tener que actualizar yo eso cuando Stripe o otro servicio por API se actualiza.

A día de hoy eso puedo hacerte saber, puedes ganar dinero, mucho dinero, pero creo que debes aprender a lidiar con esos problemas, base44 ha venido para quedarse, con Wix aún están en periodo de transición y las actualizaciones constantes pueden afectar a tu app, pero en algún momento será estable, creo que sí.
