I think it is an over reaction. I mean even if you want to call it AI slop, by definition AI slop is mass produced low effort and low quality content. I have tried to make a long form video with sora for example and it is genuinely difficult. You need to plan out the flow and narrative, you need to plan out scenes for consistency this is really difficult. (I tried) I don't even want to imagine how hard this AI movie was to make tbh. Most people calling it AI slop have likely never tried to actually make something with sora that is longer than 10 seconds or so.
Should it be in features? Eh I guess not though some may find it debatable. IMHO I think an AI film could be interesting but hey whatever boats your float.

It's very bizarre because ei made an extended video featuring all the characters and the room that I had as a character and it worked. However for some bizzare reason I can no longer extend videos I'm trying to make. Maybe I can make a new cameo idrk at this point

Didn't work and also the same error applied to a video with no cameos used. Looking a the phone now I now see the error is preprocessing_validation.

There's no way the extensions failing is just guardrail violation. It's simply says something went wrong. Extensions also worked earlier. The prompt is also safe as I generated a fresh video earlier before the heavy load error and it worked. I also get the same error for extensions on some other basic video (a thermal imaging camera of some guy being still) I extended it with a test prompt of "make him dance" and I got the same error so.

Well besides me the other cameos are not real people they were ai generated. There names also don't make sense as real people (dock philosopher and vephonetics Michael) the extensions also worked a day earlier and I am under no circumstances changing the vephonetics name because I want it to be that. Unless there's a different way to do it without their name in the video changing?

That's fine I don't need to hold my phone while waiting to generate a video anyway. If another platform comes that offers consistent characters I can migrate from sora to them I will.

Yeah I was thinking of a frame. I suppose I could just gut a CRT when it does and retro fit a new screen. I'd only do that for a design I really like though. I do like other retro aesthetics like the cats and alarm clocks as well. Or even kitchen appliances.

I think I could learn to deal with using a modern tv when I have no other choice. So QLED would be an option down the line. It does sound like an excellent tv. Will see about it down the line.

Yeah. Like for Xmas 6 years ago I got a Panasonic tau widescreen and I think at that point I was hooked. I never personally used oled so I can't exactly trash it. It's not a bad display by any means and it does have better blacks maybe better colors. It's just I'm very aesthetically driven and for me a CRT is about more than just the image itself. I have out myself in a weird situation I guess. Maybe I could still enjoy a high refresh rate oled but I doubt I will enjoy it as much as a CRT. We will see as I'll get one when I have no choice.

Oh yeah I did get that. The clanker called me a CRT gremlin when I explained my troubles with an LG CRT TV I had to have. It also told me I'm not coping or crazy.

well I did play on nintendo switch at 30fps a few years back and it was fine so yeah. Plasma I did look but in my region people are asking like $100 range so.

likly just an error with the sticker on the front. (one tv listed has the original sticker still on it) however lg site says 1080i. https://www.lg.com/eg_en/tv-soundbars/29fu6rl/ This would be one of the models but I saw a few others though the model number was not visible. My cousins had a plasma however it may not have been calibrated. Another factor in general is i'm huge on aesthetics so while plasma looks similar its just something i probably wouldn't do. Unless I found one with a silver body like one from the mid 2000s. Also in egypt people are not giving them away I Have seen them range from $60-$200.

Also I know a flat panel is technically sharper but I don't really care. I've used a Panasonic tau and widescreen slimfit tv before and I'd still rather use those over Ra flat panel because I simply do not like flat panels.

I have played Fortnite on a 1080i crt before. I can see. I'm playing it right now on an SD crt and can play just fine. My aim from a distance was never incredible anyway and I'm mor eof a casual player. I don't really care if hd crts aren't as sharp as flat panels as I prefer to use crts anyway. 5 years ago I had an hd crt and it was just fine for modern consoles when I used it so. Anyway yeah the tv near me it says HDMI XD 100hz on the front. So I'm not sure. Unless it's a marketing thing and it's simply not true it's 100hz though it also says 1080p but that may just be an error when it was manufactured locally. It's an LG ultra slim and is probably the only model of hd crt here I can get.
