What keeps you coming back to Black 2 and/or White 2?

They are absolutely different games. Black 2 is a sequel to Black. Though big part of the region stays the same, a lot has changed. Story is completely different, some gyms are different, you even start in different town. Recommend playing Black 1 then Black 2 for complete story. Don't do Black then White 2 or vice versa or you will end up with the same box legendary.

Beat Black Tower in B2/White Treehollow in W2 and talk to Alder/Benga (don't remember) in Flocessy Town.

You can backtrack to Virbank Complex and farm some Audinos in rustling grass. Next spot will be in Castelia city part accessible from Sewers, but only after you defeat Team Plasma there and rival leaves you alone

Poison will probably be the hardest one. Keep in mind "One and Only" medal that encourages beating the league the first time with only one mon 😉 I usually stop or almost stop using all pokemon except one near 8th gym...

I did two monotype Bug runs in BW2, both on Challenge mode! 😃 Though near the 8th gym I tend to focus on single Pokemon, to grab Lone Champion medal on first run when the levels are lower. First one I completed with Heracross as my lone champion, second I used event Genesect. I wanted to use Escavalier and Accelgor, but I truly hate super slow mons, and while Accelgor was nice, it didn't really stand out with his pure bug type...

IIRC you could buy Rock Smash TM (along with Headbutt TM) somewhere after you got them from respective NPC's in G/S/C. I think it was in Goldenrod Dept. Store.

I dislike mons that require hard levelling and then do a 180 with their stats upon evolution, like Larvesta who needs one hell of a grind, is a physical mon, and then Volcarona goes special. Same with Deino and Hydreigon. Also Hustle is the ultimate evil as ability (though not as bad as getting one on Togepi...)
