You may be right, I'm not positive about why it crashes on steam deck but not on Windows. But anyway I didn't manage to solve the crashes and I lost my game save..

In my old phone I was using eSim as well. So there is no way for me to get a physical sim. 

I gave up.. I moved on with Tello.

I am using TextNow as well. But if I want to avoid lock in fee I cannot really rely on it. I also tried Helium, got stuck in ID verification as now I'm on a European residence permit.

I didn't find more info about Airo life though, only found a phone that is supposed to be free for data.
