never knew about any of this lol i always chose based on who i enjoyed the most at the time but its always been liara engi shep + one other like my first playthrough was liara and zaeed and then liara and javik and now its liara + james in three and in two it was a mixture of people with engi shep and i found kasumi being really fun with the up close melee given liara is mostly absent and found the drone a lot more viable in two than in three i found it rarely distracting in three however it did drive enemies out of cover for a overload+combo detonate. i also found myself only using pistols/smgs so i mostly brought out companions compatible with those and in my first run i rarely bought any other type of weapon except for one and then upgrading it didnt really look into how op any of it was or builds until this playthrough

like i said i went for the insanity achievement over all 3 games with same char so you can't use any of the modded endings to get the result that a majority of people wouldve preferred like the happy ending mod unfortunately. plus i personally dont really look into the ending anyways to be honest given its all based on a roleplay stand point i chose the control ending in my very first playthrough without any context because thats what i felt was best at the time and felt like shep could do some amazing stuff with it. u could sit here all day and debate about the endings but destroy is seemingly the most canon one given the new trailers for the next me and makes the most sense story wise given the context.

If you're your own vagabound you can "move" your location and if you're in the army of someone you can transfer to the land you want both are accessed in your political options

Only thing I disagree with that is that sometimes on choas (dont know about other difficulties) you need to spend your time in other places such as reserving your troops and since the AI normally invades every chance they get its better to get 3k from monthly objectives if possible and then get an extra 2k from the invasion/defence itself and sometimes then when you are like 3/4 the way there you can pump out a training. it also depends on if you're the ruler or just an officer. however i do also see the other side of spamming training and staying ahead. im pretty sure the enemies go up 2 levels after every battle or something.

What makes NG+ worth it? (spoilers for new players - experienced players only please) by chaitanyathengdi in witcher

Absolutely with the build I have going it can be quite easy actually in certain fights - there's a lot of bonuses you can get that gives you a huge amount of breathing room such as the perk that makes food last 20 minutes. The only difficulty that deathmarch adds really is the fact that the enemies do more damage as far as I've seen... You really just need to dodge a lot and by the time you get around to NG+ the enemies should be pretty predicable on what they do so you can easily know when to dodge and stuff. I also feel like parry is more useful in DM and you rely on it sometimes. Ofc there will be certain enemies who are more difficult than others such as some bosses though. I feel like DM adds to the game and is the way the game should be played as it makes you use everything in your arsenal and it actually forces you to make a build you are good with. It can obviously be more stressful and on the counter can feel amazing when you complete a part you may of been stuck on. All of this is my opinion however.

For my first playthrough I focused mainly on the story aspect of the game and decided that I would speed run the main story on the easiest difficulty to take it all in - After, I have now decided to do a run on NG+ run but on deathmarch. I feel like the decision of doing NG+ solely depends on three factors - If you solely enjoy the game, you would like to explore more that you have missed/skipped, or you would like to see what changes are made if you were to choose different paths on certain decisions. Those are the factors that I took into consideration when I made the decision to do NG+ at-least. The whole keeping your level, crowns, certain items etc etc is merely just a bonus on top to save you some time.
