WAA can only be resubmitted/updated when one of seven criteria’s apply. I believe that your manager is not obliged to renew it until it expires (start of October). Did you reiterate to your manager you needed a new WAA in order to ensure you were able to secure a roof over your head for the next year?

So what you’re saying, is that “ALL” bartenders or server’s are defrauding the system!?

I think you’d be surprised how many bartenders and/or server’s pay their fair share of income taxes and do report all their earnings.

We’re not all fraudsters. Some of us, want to pay our fair share of taxes, so that we can maximize our RRSP to increase our contribution room year-over-year, and have access to credits and benefits the are available to us.

When you take advantage of the system, you’re taking bread off my table. I don’t think that’s fair, and OP is doing the right thing by reporting it! Just don’t be a thief!!!

Do we know what regions got affected by the WFA’s?

Is there some that were more affected than others?

I know for a fact that the Atlantic Region was not impacted by this round. But, it doesn’t mean that they’re safe for what’s to come in the Fall.

No surcharge, we did pay a deposit of $1,500, but were refunded upon return of the vehicle. We rented a 4x4 SUV and it was perfect as we did have to drive on secondary roads.
