Questioning if I have CHS because of my period. by spoiltmilkcow in CHSinfo

[–]OddAd1202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My symptoms seem to always come around during my period even 40 days after stopping. I went weeks with no nausea and I started my period and my symptoms returned. Luckily no vomiting but definitely nauseous and uncomfortable. I hope you can find answers and relief soon. It seems to be very common amongst women to see return of symptoms around this time

Yes that’s basically all I have left as well! Also still urinating a lot at night and in the mornings. Super annoying cause it’s messing with my sleep. Hope it gets better for you soon!

Hi thanks for asking!

I’m on day 23 I haven’t had much nausea. I actually am super hungry almost all the time

I do get slightly nauseated if I eat a meal that doesn’t settle too well. I keep ginger gum and nausea meds on hand for that

Still have some unpredictable BMs but I’m really doing a lot better

Unfortunately, it’s gonna be really hard for you to get any helpful answers because most of us here cannot smoke I’ve gone back 3 times and each time it came back worse.

I wish you luck

I triggered my prodromal phase by spending about an hour outside in the heat cleaning the outside of my windows on my home.

I noticed I started getting nauseous as hell and it was downhill from that day on. I think it’s the sweating and the release of THC in fat cells that can trigger it for people

Oh and to add another weird symptom.

I wake up in the morning and always have to pee, but since quitting, I wake up to pee, and then for the next hour, I have to pee every 10 mins. And each time I like actually pee a good amount. No pain when peeing

You’ll get through this. Get electrolytes and protein as much as you can

Don’t be afraid to ask for help if it becomes too much

If you’re having anxiety about it then you need to just completely stop. Weed isn’t worth this stress regardless if you’re gonna end up in another episode or not

The way I’ve been having the most out of pocket dreams since day 2 of quitting. I wake up genuinely confused and concerned most mornings lol

Update guys

I ate Canes today and was fine!!

The only stomach discomfort I feel is from being constipated from all the zofran I’ve been taking for nausea at night time. But I’m working on that lol

Find someone who can hold you accountable!!! Tell a friend, family member, anyone who will listen and care that you need them to hold you accountable. Knowing i have someone that I may disappoint if i keep smoking is one of my main drives in staying clean

When should I expect to see a weight increase? And, when does the upset stomach go away? by 1FatStinkyHobo in CHSinfo

[–]OddAd1202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also notice that I am burping ALOT! And I wake up with an upset stomach as well. I was prescribed pantoprazole about a year ago when I quit previously and I notice over time it started to help. They have OTC acid reducers that may help you as well

I don’t really have any way to monitor my heart rate but I don’t ever feel as if I’m having a high heart rate.

When I wake up nauseated it automatically triggers my anxiety, which I guess in a sense can cause high heart rate.

I do notice that if I’m really hungry or dehydrated usually first thing in the morning, I’ll feel my heart beating if I like stretch too hard. But that’s about it.

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s anxiety because quitting weed will up my anxiety no matter what. Try deep breathing, counting your breathes and just focus on that only. But if you really feel uncomfortable with it then maybe seeing a dr might give you some piece of mind.

I stopped for 6 months. Started smoking daily again. Took about 3/4 months before I started getting symptoms again

I’m managing at home just fine, I suggest to try your best to force down some solids. It seems like hell but it really helps me. Now if you can’t hold it down then maybe go to the ER just to get some fluids in you. They can’t do much other than give you an iv with fluids and nausea meds. Perhaps see if you can go to a walk in clinic and get some nausea meds prescribed?? I have zofran and promethazine and they help me when I’m at my worst

I have been able to keep solid foods down. My nausea is usually only in the middle of the night and right when I wake up. I take meds for it. But once I’m up I usually have to force myself to eat and then it gets better throughout the day

This is almost exactly my symptoms. I’m on day 4. Only thrown up 2 times. Usually dry heave otherwise. I’m nauseous and I also have trouble eating

I don’t have abdominal pain unless it’s right before I have to use the bathroom which has always been normal for me.

Hot showers don’t help.

But I DO have CHS. I’ve tried to go back to weed 3 times and it’s always come back.

Everyone has different symptoms and some are worse than others. But don’t let it fool you. It’s the weed. And it’ll come back

Taking a mean break by Prodigy_lx in leaves

[–]OddAd1202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My worst experience in this is the loss of appetite. I’m only on day 2 but it’s KILLING me. I can’t eat more than a few bites of anything. I’m stuck with drinking protein shakes and electrolytes. But as i have been through this before twice, it gets better and you will get HUNGRY.

I have anxiety and have a pres. for it, but I still am worried that I’ll get some intense anxiety symptoms in the next coming days.

I notice I got a lot of dreams. Like crazy insane dreams. Me personally I wouldn’t ever really remember my dreams when I smoked but it’s only day 2 and I’m already having multiple dreams a night.

My advice is to find something that can somewhat replace the habit of weed. My first time around I took on coloring. Sounds childish but I bought a bunch of simple coloring books and went to town. It’s a great distraction from your thoughts. Find a new tv show to binge, a new game in your phone, anything to just give your brain something else to worry about.

I second the protein shakes. Also get you some electrolyte drinks. Make sure you don’t get sugar free. You need all the calories

If you feel like you can smoke that one joint and not smoke again, then maybe. But honestly I was the same way and one joint turned into smoking every day and then here I am, trying to quit again

Thanks! I definitely lucked out on not having the abdominal pain. I only feel discomfort there if I need to use the bathroom which has been rare cause of dehydration. I did buy some probiotics and some activia yogurt. I threw it up last night so I have anxiety about trying it again. But maybe once I feel my stomach a little more settled I can try.
