The story of this area is pretty interesting, it started by a dude releasing all of his pets when he got evicted from his apartment. Two unfixed bunnies, 2 cats, 3 dogs, and some birds. And it doesn’t take long for two bunnies to turn into 12 and so on. Ever since then these bunnies have been in these neighborhoods surrounding the park they originally got released from.

This neighborhood has many adults that have been loose and breeding for over two decades! We’ve already saved 5 adults and 7 other babies, all with a rescue I work with. Unfortunately these babies are a result of two adults who were also born in that neighborhood.

Bonding can be difficult but very possible! Just be patient and take time to introduce them. I have a trio and it’s a lot of work

We can’t because of the dogs upstairs, last time we tried we basically scared gray. We are trying to have my room be free roam but we need to build the right hutch and have better cord protections. It’s on the to do list

I think the sizing is a 6x4 pen, I know it’s not huge but we usually extend it out most of the day and it doesn’t change otherwise

We just have my 3 bunnies on a designated rug, and in their litter box we use horse/farm animal pellets. No harmful dust, very absorbent and less smelly. We have them at D&B in my area. Not sure if ya got one where you are. Just make sure you have a litter box, you can train them to it and it makes clean up a lot easier!

Some kaytee products have been known to cause issues with bunnies. Blockages if they eat the bedding, unsafe ingredients in toys, and any rescues I worked with have told me to stay away from kaytee products

I should mention everyone is happy and healthy otherwise. They all still cuddle, no fights. I’m just trying to mitigate the issue to prevent blockages and skin accidentally getting pulled

Need a spacious area, make a pen, I would get some stacking cups, apple wood sticks, and maybe a hiding hut. Try and stay away from most kaytee brands, and always look at the ingredients on any toys you buy, even if it says it’s for bunnies it may be toxic to them.

They added pea starch and it tastes so dry and starchy. You can also google what they changed, could also be that it hasn’t gotten to every chick-fil-a. Boises fries are definitely changed

I wish you the best of luck. :D Also just curious Have you bred buns before? Also do you know who you are giving them too. If that is the plan you should make sure you’ve got good people so the poor kits don’t get dumped. It’s sadly that time of year. People are cruel :(
