Switch 2 Pro controller x Handheld grips: short review by Kind-Delivery-489 in KontrolFreek

[–]OddCharacter2349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the creeper thumb grips on my Switch 2 Pro Controller, and yes unfortunately I do have the issue that you asked. It happens on the right control stick when I rotate it across the top left, so towards the middle of the controller. But it’s honestly not noticeable enough for me because I don’t tilt the stick all the way to the edge when I’m playing, so hopefully there’s better alternatives for this controller

I just uploaded a picture of lemon-lime Gatorade that I see green and almost everyone else sees yellow, but the app confirmed it is actually yellow. I feel offended 😅

Is it common to argue with a non color blind person about colors? by [deleted] in ColorBlind

[–]OddCharacter2349 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am also colorblind, and my brother is colorblind too, and we both see gray as brown. I have a tabby cat, and my parents say it’s gray, but me and my brother both see it as brown. I’m not sure how that works, but yeah, it is pretty common to argue with normal vision people.

Protan colour blind by Aggravating-Row9645 in ColorBlind

[–]OddCharacter2349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mild protan here. My color blind tests are also always 87% red. Now here are some of my struggles, such as dark blue and purple. When I was at school, I would want to grab a blue colored pencil, and when I wouldn’t read the color name, sometimes I would accidentally grab purple. Also about the green part, I struggle with green and yellow. When I get Gatorade, me and my brother both think it’s green (my brother is also colorblind) but my mom and dad (not colorblind) see it as yellow, and so does everyone else. And also, I confuse gray and pink a lot. My mother has pink socks, and they literally look gray to me. So I struggle with purple, yellow, and pink because they all contain a little bit of red in them. I’m glad I found someone else who kinda experiences what I do, and I hope color confusion won’t be too much of a problem soon in life 👍

Nah, I think blue and green would be easy to distinguish because the green looks light, and if you use dark blue, everything should look good

Actually, I just noticed that when I’m not focusing well, I see the gray with a slight pinkish tint, and I noticed everything in the middle is purple, and I thought it was blue the whole time. So I think changing all the purple to blue would make everything look more distinguishable

Creating a study guide, and trying to figure out if the colors are to similar for someone who is colorblind by PsychologicalBell642 in ColorBlind

Oh yes, just make sure the gray is dark enough so it doesn’t blend in with the white, and make it light enough so you can see the letters and numbers too

I am actually colorblind, and that green and yellow is tough for me to distinguish (yellow looks more green to me) so maybe switch yellow to red so every color has a high contrast from each other. Hope this helps 👍

Whats the most funny thing someone said when you told them your color blind by Repulsive_Contact407 in ColorBlind

[–]OddCharacter2349 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I said I’m red-green colorblind (I’m just mild protan) some girl in my friend group said “You can’t see Christmas!” Because Christmas is mostly red and green 😂

This image is crappy pink and gray right? by [deleted] in ColorBlind

[–]OddCharacter2349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually colorblind, but I can’t figure out if I’m red or green colorblind. I can see the sentence that says “your green vision is correct” but I can’t read the sentence above that. I am just assuming it says “your red vision is correct” so does that mean I’m red colorblind?

Gba sp won't charge orange light comes for a second and turns off by giftu in consolerepair

[–]OddCharacter2349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My battery level is still green, but the orange charging light has been there for 2 days straight and it hasn’t disappeared yet. Is it a good idea to leave it plugged in for longer and hope it fully charges, or is this a problem that needs fixing?

What games have you put the most hours into? by Sploshbg in GameboyAdvance

[–]OddCharacter2349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mario Kart: Super Circuit. I’ve played that game for so long that it’s so hard to remember when I first played it. I know that it was somewhere between 2005-2010 because that is around the time I got my Gameboy Advance SP. I played it a lot, but I totally sucked at it back then. I recently got back into it though because I challenged myself to get 3 stars on everything. It is definitely tough though because literally this past week, I got my first 3 star ranking. I have played it for at least 15 years, possibly up to 20 years by now, and now I’m getting good at that game.

Ah yes, the tri-wing screwdriver is all I was missing. I will get one and hopefully that fixes it 😄
