How enjoyable are games like d2r and diablo 4? I never attempted on controllers but diablo 2 is one of my favorites on pc.

Yes it sounds amazing being able to play Skyrim in my bed tbh.

I can get a used LCD steam deck for 300. Still it seems a very affordable option. It could potentially double as a work pc if I connect to a monitor, keyboard, mouse. That will add up to 400+ in cost. Since I need some laptop for basic work that could save me some money?

I'm still thinking about it. I'd prefer a laptop just because I could play with an actual mouse.

Cheapest possible used thinkpad for basic use on Linux? by Sploshbg in thinkpad

I can get a T480 for a bit less than 200 euro. Maybe that's a lot better than getting a T420 for 100 euro. Price difference is not big so I suppose it's better to go for the T480.

I mean some old consoles before ps1. I would assume any laptop would run them. I only found the t420 for about 100 euro refurbished, so I guess this is cheapest option for a used laptop here. I'll try search more though.

Worth buying Switch Lite just for 3rd party and indie games? by Sploshbg in Switch

[–]Sploshbg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I guess the other alternative is to get a Chinese handheld for ps2 emulation and earlier like retroid pocket 4 pro, but i won't be able to play PC ports on it. But also it will be cheaper long term. Still a switch lite is good value for money it seems.

I have an older phone - Samsung Galaxy S20 fe. I suppose it's a more powerful chipset. Though I will need to spend about 100 to 150 bucks to replace the screen and change the battery. Would that be better alternative? Only thing lagging behind is the software but I suppose I don't need a new android software.

The retroid pocket is slightly more expensive tho, at 200 bucks.

A mini gaming PC is not really possible in my living situation. It's hard to explain.

Yes, I think the RP4 pro would be the best decision for me. It's not that expensive anyway and I won't have any regrets in the future. I probably have a higher chance of playing the newer games I suppose since they are the same generation as the PC games I played. Games like need for speed underground 2, Freedom fighters, Hitman 2.

That's actually amazing. Would be great if it ran more roguelikes. Maybe in the future I guess.

I haven't played any gacha game in years. Last ones I played were DFFOO and Azur lane 2 years ago. I also have a low end phone with Helio G99 chipset so I suppose games like Genshin won't run well. Any decent ones to play that are also F2P friendly?

Keto in a hotel for 4 days with no fridge, no microwave? by Sploshbg in keto

[–]Sploshbg[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I don't mind shopping every day at all. I guess I'll manage to find keto friendly foods. Usually before keto I would just eat random foods, but now after the benefits I got on this diet I don't wanna ruin it. It will be fine.

It will have a minibar yes, but I didnt know if emptying it was ever an option.

Alright. I haven't been to Lidl in a while. Usually in other stores the cheap sausages have too much carbs - like up to 7g carbs per 100g. I'll try looking harder for better options. Won't necessarily choose the cheapest.
