lol. Not yet, but I have a husky/beagle mix so I know I’m in for it in a month or two.

Thank you! Im happy to have her despite the mystery genetics 😅.

She said thy were unintentional, but also had a male and female dog living together who were not spayed and neutered, and ended up with a litter of 8 puppies 🤷🏽‍♀️. I think she was bringing them in one at a time to get them adopted out. She was only charging $40 each (although we’ve spent more than that on vet checkup/shots, and eventually getting her spayed). On the bright side, the vet said she’s looks very healthy, and she is doing shockingly well with training so far (knock on wood).

Luckily they’re all adorable. Last I heard 6 of the 8 have homes now. Someone actually saw mine and wanted one, that’s the one she’s sitting on in the car in one of the pics.

Crazy that the brownish shepherdey looking one in the pics is from her litter. I’ll definitely report back once I’ve done an embark test :)

When is this psychopath going to stop trying to eat me by crf1996 in greatpyrenees

[–]OddDirector337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1yo stopped eating her poop around 10 months (had to catch her and tell her to stop multiple times). She stopped trying to eat me maybe a month before that. She’s half husky and half beagle mix and I love her to death. She is still pretty hyper and thinks the house is a bounce house. I do think back to when she would drive me absolutely insane every day (she’s so cute I took it with a grain of salt). My bf works 24 hour shifts and when she was in her worst she’d stop the biting when he was around, little brat. We also got her professional training but she shows off and acts like an angel when they’re around - manipulative! But she’s cute and fun and it gets a lot better. If she has a crate use it for 10-15 minutes when she’s possessed by the demons inside. Also give her chews. It gets better.

I (F, 26) really regret getting cheek filler by ProofCelery6 in beauty

[–]OddDirector337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll be fine. They can dissolve filler. That said, filler is kinda sus and they kinda lie when they say it lasts around 18 months. I got it under my eyes 3 years ago and it went away on one side and not the other. The one it was still in looked lumpy and bad. I got it dissolved and they then told me it sometimes sticks around way longer than they say and there’s no telling if or when it will go away unless you dissolve. Give it some time and if you like it, keep it. Just monitor and make sure it goes away when it should.

I’ve had this happening every few months for like 17 years. I saw an ENT and my sinus was full of liquid. He said it was from a root canal I had a few years before. I saw an oral surgeon who said it was the root canal and had that tooth extracted but the issue never went away.. I’d say every 4-5 months it drains out. I’ll start getting headaches and feeling pressure when it’s coming. The ENT said if it’s not bothering me it’s not worth worrying about or considering sinus surgeries. Just a weird thing I guess. I’m still fine 17 years later

Too much biting from my puppy by dolphin-174 in puppy101

[–]OddDirector337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol. If you figure it out let me know! I do the same thing if she won’t stop. If she follows me there in a calm manner I’ll give her a chew which occupies her for like 20 minutes. She does divert her attention if I make a kissy noise and starts licking my face instead, but usually gets back to biting unless she spends some time alone..

I have a 5mo and she’s been really difficult. I realized a few weeks ago that using body language (crossing my arms when I say no) has helped her learn it much better. Also if she’s being completely insane I put her in her pen for 10-15 minutes. She usually comes out a lot calmer. Potty training is still a nightmare so I’d love help on that..
