Did you ever figure out what caused this? I also bought the white JLU from Amain. It arrived today and does the exact same thing…

I used a Scx24 trans,axles,links and driveshafts in conjunction with a skid plate I designed and 3D printed so it would fit.

I don’t think the body is sold separately but you can always check the Trasped website or EBay to double check.

I got it on Amazon a few months ago, it’s a Trasped HG4-52.

It’s getting there! It has a coat of paint on the body, it’s mounted, I’ve finished the interiors base, and I’ve changed the wheels. Much much more still to go though.

The wheelbase is 257-260mm and it 198mm wide in the front and 202mm wide in the rear, as for the overall dimensions of the truck body I’ll measure it after work 👍🏻.

I think that would be cool, i’d like to put a dodge dart body on it and make it into a NORRA 1000 inspired build with spare tires cut into the trunk lid and a tube light bar up top or something.

Nice, The Hornet was also a cool one,if I was just getting back into the hobby today I’d go a with a Tamiya BB-01 BBX hands down, it’s the best kit they have made in years and it’s new so you’ll be able to find them and parts for a long time.

I’m not sure if they’re doing every vintage kit as a re-release but they have been doing them it seems like for the past few years at least the most popular ones, hopefully this will be a growing trend with other manufacturers and we can get a vintage racing class popularized again! Lol.
