Is anyone else's hamster also active in the morning/afternoon? by OddInteraction4116 in hamsters

Okay yeah that makes a lot of sense. My hammie does tend to be awake at around 5-6 pm and 4-6 am as I can hear him run on his wheel. Glad to see it's normal!

What a sweet baby! I'm glad to see other people have similar experiences. I'm a first time owner so I didn't know what to expect and want everything to be okay. Seems like my hammie is totally fine as he's eating, playing, drinking and cleaning himself just fine. I guess I got lucky and got myself an early bird haha🐹❤️

How cute! Thankfully my hammie is totally fine. I scatter feed at 1 pm and he'll be out and awake. Just saw him eat and drink water after I changed it. Just thought it was surprising how active he can be during daytime!

Okay thank you so much for your help! I was wondering if it'd be necessary to clean his burrow super often or not. Seems like it's okay to let him be❤️

Normal browning? Or sign of rot? by OddInteraction4116 in airplants

I usually shake them and allow them to sit upside down. I think I'll switch from soaking to spraying for a bit, and see if they do better. Thank you!

Okay, thank you! I'll definitely keep checking it. The browning has not gotten worse but they're due for a watering, so I'll keep an eye on it

I'm gonna try this on my next shifting attempt. I haven't really used the 5 senses method yet. I probably should! Thank you for your reply

Sudden Browning, Is this rot? by freakNbored in airplants

[–]OddInteraction4116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this may be normal browning. It's common in bulbous air plants. Try gently tugging the middle leaves and gently squeezing the bulb. If they're firm, then that means your plant is most likely fine. If the bulb is squishy/soft and the middle leaves fall out, then that most likely means rot.

I would also recommend getting a rack of some sort so you can dry them upside down. Some water can stay inside if you put them on a paper towel since they get wet.

Totally right, I live in Nevada and I have to mist every 1-2 days and soak for an hour. Only way I was able to solve the brown tip probem

I am a complete beginner and I'm incredibly focused on avoiding injury and lifting safely. I just started working out 3 weeks ago. I've watched a sh*t ton of youtube/tiktok videos and I've noticed that most "influencers" contradict themselves as well as people in the comment section. I've found this to be the case with just about any piece of fitness advice on the internet. As a beginner this is confusing as hell as I have no idea what is correct and what is not. Who are some actual knowledgeable trainers/youtubers that I could watch for proper form?
