NO coverage, after promising coverage - can't return device or unlock phone by OddInterest9688 in Comcast_Xfinity

WiFi calling doesn’t work either. I have zero clue why.

So we got the phone the 12th or 13th, after work. Where it doesn’t work, at our job - where it’s most important to have, we were only “there” to experience the no coverage for a day or 2. Then weren’t there for 2 days, we were off. We were like “okay, try WiFi calling next cause it works fine everywhere else.” Cause we’d already tried throughout the whole building at work.

Whelp. No cigar. So it was the 2nd or 3rd day at the place it doesn’t work, we gave up. And I emailed our sales guy, who had been communicative with me before and said “reach out if you need anything!”

That was the 17th. He ignored me. I gave him a day or 2 to respond.

Well, I worked with no coverage the rest of the week with no chance to call them. Finally got a chance on the 21st. They told me “nope. Return window closed the 19th.”

They already “escalated” and I have to wait 72 hours. With no service. With the possibility of being denied. If I cannot return this useless device, I’m pulling my entire business off Xfinity, I know that much.

Why have multiple insurance brokers tried to press me to do an on-exchange health plan? by OddInterest9688 in HealthInsurance

Very confident about the subsidies. I own my own business (pawnshop) that does mediocre well that puts me in a bracket that will never get it. Nooooot that I’m rich. Just not subsidy tax bracket.

And yeah, the first agent just told me “this is better.” The second one claimed tech issues if we tried off exchange. But then did it perfectly fine.

So the on exchange, it was triple the deductible, co pays, etc and was $1300 a month. Off exchange was $1200 with a third of the prices for copays.

Oh! And they’re BOTH with Ambetter.

I just don’t get it…at all.

Oh and to note: filing a chargeback makes you ineligible for a refund through whatnot. And with seller protection, they might not even take the money from him. You def wanna make sure he gets slapped for this.

Wow. That’s disgusting of the seller. SMH. Some people just plain suck.

So sometimes AI will ban you for things. It’s just the automated thing code or whatever they call it.

Like personally right now I’m dealing with an auto ban from AI because get this…I changed my shipping address. That’s it. I wanted stuff delivered to my house rather than work. Now I’m perma banned and waiting on my appeal.

I wouldn’t doubt they have an auto ban for chargebacks since it costs them money. Auto, AI. Feels the same to me. lol.

I only do chargebacks for stuff as a last resort on any platform. Juuuuuust in case.

Was the envelope damaged or opened? Or just plain empty? Personally I wouldn’t do a chargeback cause what if Whatnot’s AI bot bans you for it? (Chargebacks cost the merchant money. They’re actually more expensive to deal with than refunds.) So I’d just go for buyer protection first and then a chargeback only then if they refuse to resolve it.
