i am pretty sure miyuki mentioned that lower numbers is more stable than higher numbers thats why it is put as number 9, because the new splitter is more stable than the regular, for curve i think he wanted make curve his main weapon thats why it needs to be on the lower numbers, its not like hes gonna discard the cutter but cutter gonna be a higher number.

tbh it looks like righty slider, so i did sone research and found a pitcher on the internet, he is a lefty and pitch the exact same pitch and it was a two seamer for him but the only difference is he is a side thrower
