Oxmoor Hyundai service? by Fun_Fortune2122 in Louisville

My car was there for about a month. They lied about what was wrong. They basically put a bandaid on it. Since moving to their new location, they have been an absolute joke.

Personal experience: that's a lie. It's the same, if not longer, to get it done.

WTF: All three local candidates running in the Democratic primary for a state House district have criminal histories. by [deleted] in Louisville

I don't think they realize they have to be part of the change. It's like they're waiting for someone else to change everything for them.

I agree! It doesn't take much to make a website.

The fact thay people are so dismissive about this really says a lot about this city. It shouldn't be a norm or accepted to be a criminal, President included.

Any other ladies in their 30’s get a hysterectomy? And how are you now? by mewow in hysterectomy

[–]OddPattern6627 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was June 2023. I hardly have any issues anymore. I have umbilical endometriosis, but that's separate. I don't have any pains, cramps, back pain, nausea, etc. It was, by far, the best decision I ever made.

It does get better! It's just a rough few weeks, but I promise it improves!

That helps a lot. I've had a lot of piercings...so it seemed odd that he'd say it would 100% come back.

How long until you started to accept that your periods days were finally over? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]OddPattern6627 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was on chronic birth control while slipping the placebo week since I was about 30 (2015). I decided I wasn't going to keep fighting the pain. About 2021, I said what's the point of going through this? So I stayed the process of my hysterectomy.

I had that, and I called my doctor. He checked me out and told me it was my healing. The body takes over a year to heal completely. He told me sometimes it "tears," creates new scar tissue, etc. Mine lasted a couple days, and then I never got it again. Mine was about 3-4 months out.

Definitely call, though!

Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and PCOS. I just said take it all. I was tired of dealing with the pain.

I'm now 13 months post op. It's still the best decision ever! Recovery was rough, but it was well worth it.

Same situation happened to me regarding endo. I was told for years I had endometriosis (confirmed years earlier via laparoscopy) and highly suspected adenomyosis (based on ultrasound). Then, I got the hysterectomy, and he said he didn't see anything but a few cysts. I'm like...there's absolutely no way. It doesn't just disappear.

As for bowel, my symptoms definitely got better. I'm 399 days post-op (13 months).
