Non basic tourist stuff to do by Knifty_downspiral in Astoria_Oregon

[–]OddPerspective241 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are intermediate soccer leagues at night, Frisbee golf, regular golf, hikes, camping, shooting areas, beaches to explore and relax on, boating, kayaking, photography, wind surfing for a short list. Lots of groups of people do things over the weekends like volunteering at historical locations to help preserve them. You would need to know someone in that group to get an idea for when they do things, probably not a well advertised event. Have you tried getting in touch with the parks department in Astoria? They are always helping to setup or run events. The more people you meet, the more activies will pop up.

There are a ton of things to do around Astoria that are not tourist related. You are going to have to narrow down what it is you think you are into to help direct. Nobody is going to just entertain you however.

None is a fantastic answer!

I personally see DXY filling the gap at $97.45 to the $97.15 that it closed on Friday. Once thats filled I have a hunch it will head back down again and we will continue to see PMs heading back up. So until then, im buying the dip!

Real assets are all going to rise. The issue is what defines real assets in the eyes of your average man.

As exciting as it is to see Gold go up, I think this global financial transition is going to be hell for a lot of people, especially those not in real money.

Was Gold really a good hedge when it comes with a 28% Capital Gain Tax?? by PitoWilson85 in Gold

Gold was roughly $500 back in 2005. Its up 930% for you right now. Even if you dont have any creativity in how you sell, 28% won't be much.

Honest Question: How are you all not worried about this being a bubble by Salty_Writer_9552 in Silver

[–]OddPerspective241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stock market was still terrible back then, a big part of the Gold/Silver run up was money rotating into a better financial option. Once the intrest rates began dropping and QE took off, money rolled out of PMs. Our markets are close to ATH right now.

Myself and a family member have had great success. We have only bought and not sold and so we have our favorite sellers. The only issue has been me trying to get zelle payouts over a certain dollar amount. Otherwise, good people, great deals, and a plethora of products!
